The effect of hydrogen on defects in AlGaN/GaN high-electron-mobility transistors (HEMTs) was investigated by using low-frequency noise (LFN) method. results show that drain-to-source current HEMTs after treatment is significantly larger than the fresh HEMTs. maximum variation up to 80 mA at gate-to-source voltage 0 V and 5 V. suppression collapse also observed, gate-lag characteristic becomes better for treatment. This paper develops a movable noncontact probing method of radio frequency current on printed trace based the electromagnetic induction. The measurement is validated by comparing series reconstructed periodic and pulse currents with those as known input signals microstrip line.
