In this paper, we present a single photodiode detection (SPD) technique for spectral-amplitude coding optical code-division multiple-access (SAC-OCDMA) systems. The proposed eliminates both phase-induced intensity noise (PIIN) and interference (MAI) in the domain. Analytical results show that 35 simultaneous users transmitting at data rate of 622 Mbps, bit-error (BER) = 1.4x10^-28 SPD is much better compared to 9.3x10^-6 9.6x10^-3 modified-AND as well AND techniques, respectively. Moreover,...

In this paper, we present, several aspects of unipolar optical code-division multiple access (OCDMA) codes, focusing on the flexible in-phase cross-correlation code algorithm and its potential for future networks. We briefly present a new class namely Flexible Cross Correlation (FCC) Spectral-Amplitude Coding (SAC) OCDMA approaches. The main coding properties are reviewed. FCC provides simple tridiagonal matrix constructions compared to other SAC-OCDMA codes such as MDW, MQC MFH codes. This...

VLC (or visible light communication) has grown in popularity recent years. For next-generation communication system upgrades, dependable data transmission is essential. As the number of users increases, so does need for consistent, rapid, and minimally delayed delivery. However, as more consumers demanded higher speeds, errors also increased. The error correction code minimizes overall system's to mitigate this effect. This study examines a design architecture (VLC) that incorporates forward...

Anechoic chambers signal absorption capability is directly correlated to its performance. One of the main components in enabling design and material used designing absorbers. Two types are pyramidal wedge-shaped ones. In this work, truncated wedge absorbers for anechoic chamber application have been designed operate effectively microwave frequencies from 1 - 10 GHz. The were simulated using a fusion carbon-based with different features coating thickness improve their performance significant...

A new family of spectral/spatial spectral amplitude-coding (SAC) optical code division multiple access (OCDMA) scheme using Modified Double Weight (MDW) is developed. The codes are derived from with good cross correlation. This proposed system can suppress the phase-induced intensity noise (PIIN) by multiuser interference (MUI) cancellation property. 2-D OCDMA MDW offer a much larger capacity compare to 1-D Code.

Abstract Inter-satellite communication is one of the revolutionary techniques that can be used to transmit high speed date between satellites. However, space turbulences such as transmitting pointing errors play a significant role while designing inter-satellite systems. Those cause shutdown link due increase attenuation during data transmission through link.
