Background: Major questions remain regarding the agestratified trends of allergic diseases and asthma in Korea.Purpose: To identify estimated recent prevalence 10- year asthma, rhinitis, atopic dermatitis among Korean population from 2008 to 2017.Methods: This nationwide cross-sectional survey (Korean National Health Nutrition Examination Survey) over 10 years (2008–2017) examined representative samples (n=85,006) including 2,131 infants, 4,352 preschool children, 12,919 school-age 44,200...

The class imbalance problem is frequently found in many real-world domains, where of traditional classifiers often fail to detect minority objects due paying less attention those. In an effort address this problem, a new under-sampling technique GAUS (genetic algorithm based under-sampling) proposed paper. designed overcome several limitations existing methods such as performance instability and information loss data distribution. To select informative majority objects, tries maximize the...

In order to handle the class imbalance problem, synthetic data generation methods such as SMOTE, ADASYN, and Borderline-SMOTE have been developed. These use a common parameter k, number of nearest neighbors. Nonetheless most effective k value depends on given dataset, there is no guideline determine k. Moreover, if dataset has noises, small sub-clusters, or complex patterns, existing SMOTE its variants show poor classification performance. Our method that we named Automatic Neighborhood size...

Hyperuricaemia commonly occurs in renal transplant recipients (RTRs), but the effects of post-transplant hyperuricaemia on kidney outcome have not been clearly established. This work was designed to explore impact outcome. The authors examined this issue by analysing clinical 281 RTRs. (defined as UA > 7.0 mg/dl men and >6.0 women for at least two consecutive tests, n = 121) classified early onset (within 1 year transplant, 90) or late (n 31). Graft function estimated using MDRD Study...

Background.Idiopathic focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) occurring at young age is known to predispose poor graft outcome, but the outcome of adulthood-onset FSGS (A-FSGS) has not been thoroughly investigated. Here, we compared outcomes between kidney recipients with A-FSGS and childhood-onset (C-FSGS).

We propose a new stopping criterion for decoding LDPC codes which consists of measure decoder behaviors and decision rule to predict failure. will show that the proposed measure, number satisfied check nodes, does not need (or minimizes) additional complexity, is efficient more importantly channel independent, was possible in previous work.

Familial male-limited precocious puberty (FMPP) is a rare form of gonadotropin-independent that caused by an activating mutation the LHCGR gene. Herein, we report case FMPP with gene in Korean boy familial history through 3 generations. A 16-month-old presented signs puberty, including pubic hair, acne, and increased growth velocity. The patient's grandfather father had profound short stature. On physical examination, patient prepubertal testes hair development appropriate for Tanner stage...

With the growing interest in skincare and maintenance, there are increasing numbers of studies on classification skin type factors influencing each type. This study presents a novel methodology by using data mining, for determination relationships between type, lifestyle, patterns cosmetic utilization. Eight skin-specific factors, which moisture, sebum U-zone (both cheeks), T-zone (forehead, nose, chin), pore, melanin, wrinkle, acne, hemoglobin, were measured 1,246 subjects living South...

We propose new implementation method that works without explicit...

Despite the recent progress in understanding geometric structures of defects and edges a graphene device (GD), how such affect transport properties have not been clearly defined. In this study, surface structure GD was observed with an atomic force microscope (AFM) spatial variation current by gating tip measured scanning gate microscopy (SGM). It found that corrugations, directly influence current. This observation is linked proposed scattering model based on macroscopic measurements.

Rhabdomyolysis associated with psychogenic polydipsia and hyponatremia is a rare condition that can cause substantial morbidity mortality. We report 14-year-old boy who experienced recurrent subsequent rhabdomyolysis. Treatment involved intravenous fluids restriction of oral water intake. This case emphasizes the importance early recognition management this condition. The possibility rhabdomyolysis should be considered in patients have myalgia.
