Background: Treatment options and outcomes in stroke also depends on pre-hospital delays. The goal of this study is to describe onset-to-door times (ODT) across many countries investigate how the mode arrival affects ODT. Methods: This an analysis data from Registry Stroke Care Quality (RES-Q), years 2022&2023. RES-Q used world for audit clinical care. Data were stratified by (EMS vs. non-EMS). Median ODT analyzed, 95% confidence intervals (CI) calculated each country mode. Results: Of...

An effective primary stroke prevention strategy on a global scale should integrate pharmacological (polypill) and lifestyle modifications (motivational population-wide strategy) interventions. Side effects of such an integrative approach are expected to be minimal the benefits among individuals at low-to-moderate risk could significant. In future, pragmatic field trials will provide more evidence.

Rationale: The evidence base for acute post-stroke rehabilitation is inadequate and global guideline recommendations vary. Aim: To define optimal early mobility intervention regimens ischemic stroke patients of mild moderate severity. Hypotheses: Compared with a prespecified reference arm, the dose regimen(s) will result in more participants experiencing little or no disability (mRS 0–2) at 3 months (primary), fewer deaths months, less severe complications during period, faster recovery...

Background: Most strokes and cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are potentially preventable if their risk factors identified well controlled. Digital platforms, such as the PreventS-MD web app (PreventS-MD) may aid health care professionals (HCPs) in assessing managing promoting lifestyle changes for patients. Methods: This is a mixed-methods cross-sectional two-phase survey using largely positivist (quantitative qualitative) framework. During Phase 1, prototype of was tested internationally by...
