Organoborane compounds are among the most commonly employed intermediates in organic synthesis and serve as crucial precursors to alcohols, amines, various functionalized molecules. A simple palladium-based system catalyzes conversion of primary C(sp(3) )H bonds complex molecules into alkyl boronate esters. Amino acids, amino a series bioactive can be with use readily available removable directing groups presence commercially additives, ligands, oxygen (O2 ) terminal oxidant. This approach...

Abstract Functional characterization of pseudouridine (Ψ) in mammalian mRNA has been hampered by the lack a quantitative method that maps Ψ whole transcriptome. We report bisulfite-induced deletion sequencing (BID-seq), which uses bisulfite-mediated reaction to convert stoichiometrically into upon reverse transcription without cytosine deamination. BID-seq enables detection abundant sites with stoichiometry information several human cell lines and 12 different mouse tissues using 10–20 ng...

Restricting network access of routing and packet forwarding to well-behaving nodes denying from misbehaving are critical for the proper functioning a mobile ad-hoc where cooperation among all networking is usually assumed. However, lack infrastructure, dynamics topology node membership, potential attacks inside by malicious and/or noncooperative selfish make conventional control mechanisms not applicable. We present URSA, ubiquitous robust solution ad hoc networks. URSA implements ticket...

Abstract We report epitaxial growth of AlN films with atomically flat surface on nano-patterned sapphire substrates (NPSS) prepared by nano-imprint lithography. The crystalline quality can be greatly improved using the optimized 1-μm-period NPSS. X-ray diffraction ω-scan full width at half maximum values for (0002) and (10"Equation missing"<!-- image only, no MathML or LaTex -->2) reflections are 171 205 arcsec, respectively. NPSS contribute to eliminating almost entirely threading...

Abstract AlGaN‐based ultraviolet light‐emitting diodes (UV‐LEDs) have the advantages of mercury (Hg) pollution free, small size, high efficiency, and so on, are widely used in military, medical, industrial fields, which considered to be most promising alternative traditional Hg lamps. Great efforts made over past few decades improve device performance, thereby meeting commercial production application requirements UV‐LEDs, is always accompanied by a series interesting physical topics. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) presents one of the major health threats in China today. A better understanding molecular genetics underlying malignant transformation hepatocytes is critical to success battle against this disease. The methylation state C5 cytosine CpG di-nucleotide that enriched within or near promoter region over 50 % polymerase II genes has a drastic effect on transcription these genes. Changes profile promoters represent an alternative genetic lesions as causative factors...

Improving the phase separation and stability of hard segment domains at same time is novel method reported here to improve recovery thermoplastic shape memory polyurethanes (SMPUs) high strain (>1000%). The corresponding SMPUs with a more than 1000% can reach about 96% room temperature in 3 min, recoverable (εmax − εpermanent) 960%, which nearly 2.5 times that best value (400%) previously reported.

One of the obvious shortcomings bio-based shape memory polyurethanes (Bio-SMPUs), which usually use natural oil based polyols as soft segment, is their low mechanical strength because long dangling chains (six to eight carbons) in these prevent Bio-SMPUs from deep micro-phase separation, and consequently deteriorate properties. In this work, we prepared a polyester diol for short side (CC) were used tune transition temperature morphology Bio-SMPUs. The moderate concentration branch barely...
