Microbubble formation occurs due to the cavitation phenomenon. We report a rare echocardiographic finding of microbubbles in patient's aorta and left ventricle pump thrombosis assist device, requiring exchange surgery.

Background: Upfront high dose chemotherapy with stem cell transplantation (SCT) is often used for patients newly diagnosed multiple myeloma (MM). This approach has shown variable benefits in various randomized clinical trials (RCTs) when compared to standard therapy (SDT) or without delayed SCT. The aim of this meta-analysis was evaluate difference overall survival (OS) and progression-free (PFS) RCTs including who underwent early SCT those received SDT Methods: We searched different...
A high-velocity gradient across the left ventricular outflow tract is most often caused by aortic valve stenosis. We describe unusual case of a kinked ascending graft in 69-year-old man who had Marfan syndrome. The patient history aneurysm and previously undergone replacement root aorta with use bioprosthetic valved graft. kinking was dilation native arch. underwent successful hemi-arch repair Late complications reoperation after proximal surgery patients syndrome are rare, unusual.
Midventricular ballooning syndrome, an atypical presentation of takotsubo cardiomyopathy (TCM), presents with transient wall motion abnormalities the midsegment left ventricle apical sparing. In midventricular TCM, contractility is unaffected or may be hyperkinetic in contrast to typical form TCM. We report a case wherein patient presented chest pain following choking and coughing spells due postnasal drip.
