The interaction of the elastic SH-wave with defect on boundary joint an layer half-space is investigated. modelled by impedance tape a joint. solution diffraction problem obtained as infinite system linear algebraic equations using Wiener-Hopf technique. corresponding characteristic equation derived for determining spectrum. dependence eigenfrequencies parameters also presented.
A sample Pearson correlation coefficient (SPCC) is proposed to calculate an unknown phase shift (UPS) between speckle fringe patterns (speckle interferograms (SIs)) of the same test object. The SI sequences initial flat optically rough surface and a deformed were synthesized estimate systematic errors UPS extraction. low level these in range from 0 180 degrees proves effectiveness using SPCC extract UPS.
Analytical expression, describing the complex introduced voltage of attachable eddy current transducer with concentric excitation and measuring coils placed on surface non-magnetic conductive plate uniaxial electrical conductivity anisotropy, is obtained. On basis its numerical analysis show, that anisotropy causes additional error measurement. The estimation this carry out. It's significantly smaller when amplitude used as informative parameter compared to phase. Error phase gauges...
Results of computing unknown phase shift (UPS) errors between synthesized speckle fringe patterns (SFPs) using the population Pearson correlation coefficient (PPCC) are represented. It is shown that mean absolute error UPS normalized SFPs very small over entire range shifts from 0 to 180 if RMS height Sq 3D rough surface exceeds one seventh laser wavelength. These results indicate possibility PPCC calculate in shifting digital pattern interferometry.

The distribution of the displacement field on front surfaces an elastic layer with internal crack-type defect is determined for its diagnostics by SH-wave. model infinitely thin cut whose faces are free stresses. corresponding boundary value problem wave diffraction formulated and solved Wiener-Hopf method. solution obtained in analytical form. features behavior established, which can be used to estimate depth identify edge.
The problem of the elastic SH-wave diffraction from semi-infinite interface defect in rigid junction layer and half-space is solved. modeled by impedance surface. solution obtained Wiener- Hopf method. dependences scattered field on structure parameters are presented analytical form. Verifica¬tion presented.
The influence of material's permittivity two thin cylindrical inclusions illuminated by a plain TM-polarized electromagnetic wave and some geometric parameters appropriate diffraction problem on the far radiation field have been investigated in paper.

To determine the location of elongated subsurface defects in conductivity materials case movement source primary field on surface object inspection is proposed method correlation processing signals. In base was put procedure for determining maximum value square coefficient between theoretically calculated values magnetic an infinitely long filament with current (model defect) and measured signal from defect. By numerical experiments are shown efficiency application to analysis signals...
Electromagnetic wave diffraction on a crack-type defect is typical simplest problem in the theory of nondestructive testing. Such can be considered as thin dielectric scatterer. In scalar case we use term "thin scatterer" to mean cylindrical shell when its largest thickness much less than length along guide. The last one assumed comparable with excitation wavelength. this paper consider three mathematical models mentioned problem. One them based, fact, volume integral equations approach
