Two new benzoates, asiatoate A (1) and B (2), have been isolated from the ethyl acetate soluble fraction of Buddleja asiatica whole plant. Their structures were elucidated with help spectroscopic data. Both showed significant inhibitory effect on acetylcholinesterase (AChE) butylcholinesterase (BChE) in a dose-dependent manner.
