We explore the presence of zoonotic flaviviruses (West Nile virus (WNV) and Usutu (USUV)) neutralizing antibodies in rarely studied passerine bird species. report, for first time Europe, WNV-specific red avadavat cetti's warbler, USUV yellow-crowned bishop. The evidence WNV circulating resident migratory species has implications both animal public health.
