Abstract Partial Fourier reconstruction algorithms exploit the redundancy in magnetic resonance data sets so that half of is calculated during image rather than acquired. The conjugate synthesis, Margosian, homodyne detection, Cuppen and POCS are evaluated using spatial frequency domain analysis to show their characteristics where limitations may occur. phase correction used partial equivalent a convolution importance accurately implementing this demonstrated. Methanosarcina strain 227 exhibited exponential growth on sodium acetate in the absence of added H 2 . Under these conditions, rates methanogenesis were limited by concentrations below 0.05 M. One mole methane was formed per consumed. Additional evidence from radioactive labeling studies indicated that sufficient energy for obtained decarboxylation acetate. Diauxic and sequential methanol followed occurred presence mixtures Detailed showed methanol-grown cells did not metabolize methanol,...

In fuel ethanol production, these biorefining steps 10−20% content ethanol. The need minimize raise net yield can be met by replacing high-temperature, liquid-phase, enzymatic digestion with low temperature, solid-phase, digestion. Also called cold hydrolysis, approach is a step toward "green" method for production There has been...

This rate significantly higher than previously obtained for cultures genus. Mineral components yeast extract were highly stimulatory growing on methanol. Comparable stimulation not observed acetate....

Estimating the true signal‐to‐noise ratio (SNR) of magnetic resonance (MR) images with low signal is confounded by magnitude presentation data. This paper suggests a simple solution to this problem. A common method measuring SNR compares mean standard deviation noise. measure was found be satisfactory for high but not image regions because noise bias. These inconsistencies are removed introducing unbiased definitions and levels in terms their root‐mean‐square values. The approaches compared...

Defects in metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) primarily manifest as missing linkers or metal nodes induced through synthesis, post-synthetic modification, and/or exposure to reaction conditions. By changing the nature of active site(s) and perturbing crystalline frameworks, defects confer physicochemical alterations MOF catalysts that may promote inhibit intrinsic reactivity, electron transfer excitation, mass transport. Quantitative cerebral blood flow (CBF) values can be obtained from dynamic susceptibility contrast (DSC) MR perfusion studies using the standard singular value decomposition (sSVD) deconvolution algorithm. Reports in literature simulation and vivo suggest that CBF estimates sSVD depend on arterial-tissue delay (ATD). By contrast, Fourier transform (FT) produces are independent of ATD. The diagnostic reliability quantitative measurements to define areas normal tissue at risk is brought into...
