Implementing dissipative assembly in living systems is meaningful for creation of materials or even artificial life. However, intracellular remains scarce and significantly impeded by the challenges lying precisely operating chemical reaction cycles under complex physiological conditions. Here, we develop organelle-mediated self-assembly peptides cells fueled GSH, via design a mitochondrion-targeting redox-responsive hexapeptide. While hexapeptide undergoes efficient self-assembly, addition...

Abstract BACKGROUND Esophageal carcinoma is a major cause of cancer-related deaths among males in Taiwan. However, to date, the genetic alterations that accompany this lethal disease are not understood. METHODS Chromosomal aberrations 46 samples esophageal squamous cell (EC-SCC) were analyzed by comparative genomic hybridization (CGH), and their correlations with pathologic staging prognosis statistically. RESULTS In total, 321 gains 252 losses found tumor samples; thus, average per patient...

Fault detection is crucial to isolate positioning risks for safety-critical applications using Global Navigation Satellite Systems. Conventional Kalman filter-based fault methods mainly focus on satellite measurement faults and presume that the test statistics follow chi-square distribution. These ignore adverse effect of undetected occurring previously, performance would be restrained under a mis-matched distribution assumption. To solve these issues, an enhanced method proposed in this...

This study examines the impact of sintering air volume on characteristics combustible lean gases (CO, H2, and CH4) in flue gas. By conducting experiments using a fixed combustion test bench, we analyzed changes negative pressure, gas composition, sinter quality under various conditions. The results demonstrate that an 90 m³/(m²·min) leads to lower ratio (ω(CO)/ω(CO + CO2)), indicating more efficient utilization fuel chemical energy. Additionally, increasing per unit area reduces time. mass...
