ABSTRACT The [ 13 C]urea breath test ( C-UBT) and Helicobacter pylori stool antigen (HpSA) for the diagnosis of H. infection in children were validated. sensitivity, specificity, positive negative predictive values 93.8, 99.1, 97.8, 98.0%, respectively, C-UBT 96.9, 100, HpSA. Both tests are appropriate diagnosing children.
