Human and animal vector-borne diseases, particularly mosquito-borne are emerging or re-emerging worldwide. Six Aedes invasive mosquito (AIM) species were introduced to Europe since the 1970s: aegypti, Ae. albopictus, japonicus, koreicus, atropalpus triseriatus.
