Angiotensin II (Ang II) is the most active peptide hormone produced by renin-angiotensin system (RAS). Genetic deletion of genes that ultimately restrict Ang formation has been shown to result in marked anemia mice. In this study, adult mice with a genetic RAS precursor protein angiotensinogen (Agt-KO) were used. Experimental analyses included capillary hematocrit, hemogram, plasma and tissue iron quantifications, expression encoding relevant proteins for body homeostasis different organs as...
Germ-line mutations in several genes, such as BRCA1 and BRCA2, are known to increase the risk of breast cancer. These heritable unequally represented among populations with different ethnic background due founder effects thereby contribute differences cancer rates populations. The mutation c.5266dupC (also 5382insC or 5385insC) was detected a sample 193 patients Ukraine by multiplex mutagenically separated PCR using published specific primers. Nine were (4.7 %). difference age diagnosis (35...
Abstract Using real-time polymerase chain reaction methods, we have researched the CSN2 polymorphism (GenBank M55158; SNP rs43703011) gene in 4 breeds of cows North-East Ukraine. The observed distributions genotype frequencies А1/А1, А1/А2, А2/А2 and A1 or A2 alleles varies considerably different cattle breeds: Lebedyn - 14.6%, 31.7%, 53.7% (0.3 0.7); Ukrainian brown dairy breed 6.8%, 43.2%, 50% (0.28 та 0.72); Simmental 7.3%, 51.2%, 41.5% (0.33 0.67); black speckled milky – 38.5%, 34.6%,...
