We have succeeded in synthesizing black phosphorus employing a one-pot solvothermal reaction of red phosphorous and ethylenediamine used as solvent.
We have examined the photocatalytic activity of Ga2O3 supported on Al2O3 (Ga2O3/Al2O3 catalyst) without a noble metal cocatalyst for water splitting and reduction CO2 with under UV light irradiation by changing loading amount Ga2O3. All prepared Ga2O3/Al2O3 catalysts show activities both reduction, their are significantly improved compared to those nonsupported Al2O3. The is dominated less than 1.0 vol % loaded, whereas higher Ga2O3-loaded samples (2.6, 4.2 %). Crystalline structure...
KTaO3 was doped with Sr cations, and its photocatalytic activity for the overall water splitting investigated. By doping Sr, a Sr-rich shell formed over Sr-poor core. Extended X-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopy revealed simultaneous occupation of K sites Ta by cations. A concentration gradient cations occupying suggested to be produced after Sr. The simultaneously induced an energy conduction band edge bottom. Hence, photoexcited electrons are separated, which driven away bulk...
Ga 2 O 3 samples with different crystalline structures were prepared by calcination of a gallium nitrate powder around 800 K. mixed phases γ and β showed high photocatalytic activity for CO production from reduction water, the was even higher than that an Ag‐loaded β‐Ga 3. The increased time. increase attributed to appearance GaOOH resulting interaction water during reaction as revealed XRD XPS analyses. In situ FT‐IR measurements bicarbonates bidentate carbonate species adsorbed on GaOOH....
Various metal oxides with 0.1 wt% Ag loaded as a cocatalyst were prepared by an impregnation method and examined their photocatalytic activity for CO 2 reduction water. Among all the Ag‐loaded oxides, Ga O 3 , ZrO Y MgO, La showed activities H productions under ultraviolet light irradiation. Thus, involving cations closed shell electronic structures such d 0 10 s had potential In situ Fourier transform infrared measurement revealed that selectivity production are controlled amount chemical...
TiO x N y /TiO2 was synthesized by nitriding of TiO2 in NH3 gas. generated hydrogen from methanol aqueous solution under visible-light irradiation. It revealed K-edge XANES and 1s XPS measurements that the species contributing to responsiveness O-Ti-N species. The structure showing photocatalytic activity a double shell type with thin layers covers core. Although content on surface decreased during reaction, supplied deeper side keep phase at as well.
To promote photocatalytic activity of gallium oxides (Ga2O3) on CO2 reduction with water under visible light irradiation, we have tried nitrogen doping into Ga2O3 different crystalline structures. In diffuse reflectance UV-vis spectra, absorption bands appeared in the region after and edge shifted to a longer wavelength increasing temperature. N K-edge XANES analysis clearly showed two kinds species doped samples; nitride (GaN) molecular like nitrogen. XRD patterns, at temperatures above 823...
Abstract We have examined photocatalytic activities of Ga2O3 supported by various metal oxides for water splitting and CO2 reduction with under UV light irradiation. The photocatalyst was prepared an impregnation method. found that some used as a supporting oxide improve reduction. In particular, the CO production rates are well correlated to properties oxide. These satisfy following three criteria significantly enhancing rate. (1) Their band gap is wider than position its conduction at...
Abstract The vulnerability of people with intellectual disability when services are disrupted by a major earthquake is described. value an accessible register and multiple networks support at the time disaster emphasized.
With a view to rational designing of highly functional visible‐light TiO 2 photocatalyst, nitrogen atoms were doped into samples by an ion implantation technique which enables control the depth and concentration dopants. Although absorbance in region sample increased doping, photocatalytic activity was not directly connected with photo‐absorbance. The N K‐edge X‐ray absorption near edge structure (XANES) spectrum active (A‐cat) showed characteristic double peak at 398 401 eV, XANES inactive...
Nitrogen‐doped NaTaO 3 was synthesized through 1‐pot reaction, hydrothermal process using Ta N 5 as precursor. Changing concentration and amount of NaOH aqueous solution influenced nitrogen content in . Absorption edge nitrogen‐doped extended at 570 nm, absorbance visible light region depended on Anodic photocurrent measured under irradiation became larger with increasing 3‐ x y Under ultraviolet ( λ ≤ 400 nm), the highest anodic observed when = 0.024. It possible to expand wavelength range...
We have studied degradation of photocatalytic activity TiO x N y for water splitting under visible light irradiation with heat treatment in O2/N2 mixed gas. The reduction the content by oxidation through formation O-N-O species (NO ) was confirmed as result catalytic activity. is not simply related to amount remained but that taking chemical state O-Ti-N , which active responsiveness on hydrogen evolution. first oxidized NO2 during oxidation, reduces Then, removed NO gas from surface....
