α-Ga2O3 is a wide-bandgap semiconductor material which was prepared by novel synthesis method from metallic gallium. It characterized X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy. This oxide also evaluated as photocatalyst toward the decomposition of malachite green (MG). used with purpose analyzing changes on surface before after photocatalytic reaction. The results found diffraction shows that alfa phase did not transform...
Hennig's holomorphology concept defines taxonomy as a process that synthesizes evidence from all relevant comparative sources. One possible source is metabolomics, in which the global metabolic profile analyzed. An integral can be quickly obtained, nondestructively, through spectroscopy near infrared region. Here we use and chemometry to identify nine species of flies genus Neodexiopsis Malloch (Muscidae, Diptera). This most species-rich Muscoidea Neotropical Identification success...
This paper reports the sol-gel synthesis of Al2O3-Nd2O3 (Al-Nd-x; x = 5%, 10%, 15% and 25% Nd2O3) binary oxides photodegradation diclofenac activated by UV light. Al-Nd-based catalysts were analyzed N2 physisorption, XRD, TEM, SEM, UV-Vis PL spectroscopies. The inclusion Nd2O3 in aluminum oxide matrix 10-25% range reduced band gap energies from 3.35 eV for γ-Al2O3 to values as low 3.13-3.20 eV, which are typical semiconductor materials absorbing region. Al-Nd-x reached more than 92.0%...
Abstract Porous silicon (PS) has been widely used in biology, biomedicine, and nanotechnology. In recent years, its application cancer therapy received considerable attention. PS shown low cytotoxicity, so it is reasonable to use as an antibody conjugate for targeted anticancer drug delivery. this work, we synthesized covalently attached doxorubicin covered by a nanometric polymer crosslinker between the monoclonal trastuzumab, using electrochemical etching particle generation. The results...
In the search for technologies and materials to improve safety efficacy of active ingredients used in treating diseases, layered double hydroxides (LDHs) have been proposed as drug carriers since they can enhance effects even reduce toxicity. Doxorubicin (DOX) is one most widely studied antitumor drugs due its broad spectrum; however, low plasma bioavailability slow systemic clearance, only a small fraction reaches acts on tumor, so LDHs vehicles solve these disadvantages. The method load...
