The analysis of color-superconducting two-flavor deconfined quark matter at moderate densities is extended to include a particular spin-1 Cooper pairing those quarks which do not participate in the standard spin-0 diquark condensate. (i) relativistic gap Delta' implies spontaneous breakdown rotation invariance manifested form quasi-fermion dispersion law. (ii) critical temperature anisotropic component approximately given by relation T_c'~ Delta'(T=0)/3. (iii) For massless fermions gas...

There are many possibilities for new physics beyond the Standard Model that feature non-standard Higgs sectors. These may introduce sources of CP violation, and there be mixing between multiple bosons or other scalar bosons. Alternatively, a composite state, even no at all. scenarios have important implications collider as well cosmology, understanding their phenomenology is essential full comprehension electroweak symmetry breaking. The Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) mesoscale model was run in three different configurations over Svalbard Archipelago and compared with the 12-day summer measurements of surface wind characteristics at sites along western coast of Petuniabukta, central Spitsbergen. For studying wind patterns over complex topography, we chose following for their differing terrain elevation local surface characteristics: a raised marine terrace (15 m a.s.l.), foreland of Horbyebreen Glacier (67...

Lack of Lorentz invariance QCD at a finite quark chemical potential in general implies the need for noninvariant condensates self-consistent description color-superconducting ground state. Moreover, spontaneous breakdown color $\mathrm{SU}(3)$ this state naturally leads to existence nonsuperconducting expectation values. We illustrate these observations by analyzing properties an effective two-flavor Nambu--Jona-Lasinio-type Lagrangian and discuss possibility states with effectively gapless...

We consider a model with global Abelian chiral symmetry of two massless fermion fields interacting complex massive scalar field. argue that the Schwinger-Dyson equations for and boson propagators admit ultraviolet-finite chiral-symmetry-breaking solutions provided Yukawa couplings are large enough. The fermions acquire masses elementary excitations field real spin-zero particles different masses. As necessary consequence dynamical breakdown both in sectors, one pseudoscalar Nambu-Goldstone...

We analyze color superconductivity of one massive flavor quark matter at moderate baryon density with a spin-zero color-sextet condensate. The most general Higgs-type ground-state expectation value the order parameter implies complete breakdown $\mathrm{SU}(3)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}U(1)$ symmetry. However, both conventional fourth-order polynomial effective bosonic description and Nambu--Jona-Lasinio--type fermionic in mean-field approximation favor an enhanced $\mathrm{SO}(3)$...

We gauge the experimentally observed flavor (family) index of chiral lepton and quark fields argue that resulting non-vectorial SU(3)_F dynamics completely self-breaks. This breakdown generates fermion masses, which in turn trigger electroweak symmetry breaking (EWSB). Suggested asymptotically free with an assumed non-perturbative infrared fixed point has just one parameter is therefore either right or plainly wrong. Weak field theories strongly coupled infrared, unfortunately, there no...

We consider a model with anomaly-free Abelian gauge axial-vector symmetry, which is intended to mimic the standard electroweak chiral $SU(2{)}_{L}\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}U(1{)}_{Y}$ theory. Within this we demonstrate: (1) Strong Yukawa interactions between massless fermion fields and massive scalar field carrying axial charge generate dynamically boson proper self-energies, are ultraviolet-finite chirally noninvariant. (2) Solutions of underlying Schwinger-Dyson equations found...
