Abstract Nanosheets of metal–organic frameworks (MOFs)—porous crystalline materials consisting metal ions and organic ligands—are actively studied for their intrinsic chemical/physical properties attributed to the reduced dimensionality potential function as ideal components nanodevices, especially when electrical conduction is present. Air/liquid interfacial synthesis a promising technique obtain highly oriented MOF nanosheets. However, rational control size shape combined with aimed...
A variety of ferrocenes bearing podand dipeptide chains have been synthesized to form an ordered structure in both solid and solution states investigated by 1H NMR, FT-IR, CD, X-ray crystallographic analyses. Conformational enantiomerization through chirality organization was achieved the intramolecular hydrogen bondings between chains. The single-crystal determination ferrocene 2 (-D-Ala-D-Pro-OEt) revealed two C2-symmetric CO (Ala) NH (another Ala) each chain induce chirality-organized...
Tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium(0) catalyzes the highly regioselective addition of phenyl thiocyanate (PhSCN) to terminal alkynes, which attains simultaneous introduction thio and cyano groups internal positions respectively. This reaction may proceed via oxidative PhSCN Pd(PPh3)4, forms Pd(SPh)(CN)(PPh3)2 as key intermediate.
Despite the widespread use of transition-metal catalysts in organic synthesis, transition-metal-catalyzed reactions organosulfur compounds, which are known as catalyst poisons, have been difficult. In particular, addition compounds to unactivated alkenes remains a challenge. A novel gold-catalyzed hydrothiolation is presented, proceeds effectively give anti-Markovnikov-selective adducts good yields and regioselective manner.
The ferrocene bearing the podand dipeptide chains, Ala-Pro-OEt, which are aligned parallel in solution by two rigid intramolecular hydrogen bonds, manifests a novel helically ordered arrangement with one turn of 14.70 Å pitch height crystal packing possibly due to bonds (the N–H···OC distance is 2.06 Å) and hydrophobic interaction chains between nearest units 4.54 Å).
The oxidative coupling of benzylamines proceeds efficiently using salicylic acid derivatives as organocatalysts under an oxygen atmosphere, affording the corresponding N-benzylidenebenzylamines in high yields. Electron-rich such 4,6-dimethoxysalicylic and 4,6-dihydroxysalicylic exhibit excellent catalytic activities for to give imines. This amine oxidation can also be applied synthesis nitrogen-containing heterocycles benzimidazole derivatives. Furthermore, recycle catalyst, silica gel...
Abstract A strategy to modulate the in‐plane structural arrangement in preferentially oriented crystalline metal–organic framework (MOF) nanosheets assembled by a two‐dimensional interfacial reaction between porphyrin units and metal ion linkers is reported. Starting with tetratopic MOF nanofilm, NAFS‐2, size shape are modified employing specially designed building units, trans ‐ditopic an expanded porphyrin, Cu 2+ linkers. Reducing number of binding parts affords nanosheet, NAFS‐31,...
Binary systems consisting of benzoyl peroxide (BPO) and diorganyl diselenide are effective in the selective benzoyloxyselenation internal alkynes to afford corresponding β-(benzoyloxy)alkenyl selenides good yields. In contrast alkynes, terminal undergo a novel C(sp)-H substitution with phenylseleno group BPO/(PhSe)2 system, providing alkynyl Both selenation reactions might proceed via benzoyloxy selenide (PhC(O)O-SeAr) as key intermediate for electrophilic addition alkynes. The products...
Ferrocenes bearing podand dipeptide chains were demonstrated to induce intramolecular conformational regulation through hydrogen bondings. The single-crystal X-ray structure determination of the ferrocene -Gly-l-Pro-OEt confirmed formation two interchain bondings between CO (Gly) and NH (another Gly) each chain (N(1)···O(102), 2.910 Å; N(101)···O(2), 2.898 N(201)···O(302), 2.85 N(301)···O(202), 2.87 Å) give a 10-membered hydrogen-bonded ring. -l-Pro-Gly-OEt is also considered form rigid...
A novel combination of tetraphenyldiphosphine and diphenyl diselenide under photoirradiation conditions attains simultaneous introduction diphenylphosphino phenylseleno groups into carbon-carbon unsaturated bonds such as terminal alkynes or allenes, regioselectively.
Abstract In sharp contrast to tetraphenyldiphosphine, which does not add carbon–carbon double bonds efficiently, its monoxide, [Ph 2 P(O)PPh ] can engage in a radical addition various alkenes, thus affording the corresponding 1‐phosphinyl‐2‐phosphinoalkanes regioselectively, and they be converted into their sulfides by treatment with elemental sulfur. The phosphinylphosphination proceeds homolytic cleavage of P V (O)−P III single bond Ph , followed selective attack phosphinyl at terminal...
Photodynamic therapy (PDT) exploits light interactions and photosensitizers to induce cytotoxic reactive oxygen species. diagnosis (PDD) uses the phenomenon of photosensitizer emitting fluorescence distinguish some tumors from normal tissue. The standard used for PDD is 5-aminolevulinic acid (5-ALA), although it not entirely satisfactory. We previously reported glucose-conjugated chlorin (G-chlorin) as a more effective than another widely photosensitizer, talaporfin sodium (TS); however,...

The technique does not need use additives metal catalysts features advantages high conversion, broad substrate scope, mild reaction conditions, thereby...
Although most metal-organic frameworks (MOFs)-highly porous crystalline metal complex networks with structural and functional varieties-are electrically insulating, high electrical conduction has been recently demonstrated in MOFs while retaining permanent porosity. Usability of electronically active effectively emerges when they are created a thin-film state as required major potential applications such chemiresistive sensors, supercapacitors, electrode catalysts. Thin-film morphology...
M2-like tumor-associated macrophages (M2-TAMs) in cancer tissues are intimately involved immunosuppression addition to growth, invasion, angiogenesis, and metastasis. Hence, considerable attention has been focused on immunotherapies targeting M2-TAMs. However, systemic therapies inhibit TAMs as well other important for normal immune responses throughout the body. To stimulate tumor immunity with fewer side effects, we targeted M2-TAMs using photodynamic therapy (PDT), which damages cells via...
