Abstract Mulitlayer graphene reinforced silicon nitride composites were prepared by spark plasma sintering to investigate the effect of addition on mechanical properties. The contained multilayer (MLG) in various (0, 1, 3 and 5 wt%) content. Significantly higher fracture toughness 8.0 MPa m 1/2 was obtained at 1% MLG content, however, further increasing content did not increase, but dropped value monolithic nitride. maximum hardness 18.8 also MLG, while contents it gradually decreased.
Abstract Decomposition of poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) was investigated in radiofrequency thermal plasma neutral, oxidative and reductive conditions. Optical emission spectroscopy (OES) applied for the characterization column. OES used to identify active components such as excited atoms, ions, radicals molecules. The spectra were dominated by molecular C2, CN, OH, CH bands, atomic H, Ar, C, Cl O lines. Emission intensities main species monitored versus various experimental parameters....
Ambient oxidation of nanosized silicon nitride powder produced by the vapour phase reaction tetrachloride and ammonia has been studied in this work. Aliquots were stored argon gas, dry air 80% humidity, changes bulk surface properties investigated against ageing time. The samples characterised wet chemical analysis, XPS, TG-MS, FTIR, XRD TEM methods. No significant detected on storage gas for 90 days. However, humid air, remarkable formation N–H species found. particulate tends to...
