Inactivation of Escherichia coli by bipolar pulsed discharge in an air–liquid–solid three-phase reactor has been investigated. The effect several operating parameters on the inactivation efficiency also studied. Experimental results showed that plasma had good performance E. coli. Power intensity and gas flow rate a positive inactivation, while initial solution conductivity little effect. An alkaline condition was favorable for reactor.
