Flexible supercapacitors (SC), which are mostly produced from carbon-based materials, emerging devices for lightweight, portable, miniaturized, wearable electronic products. It is important to improve larger energy density, power density...
Abstract A new glass system with the composition 60B 2 O 3 + 30PbF (10−x)K x Er (x = 0 to mol%) were synthesized using melt-quenching technique and comprehensively analyzed evaluate their structural, optical, mechanical, radiation shielding properties. Increasing concentration enhanced density (from 4.260 4.89 g/cm ) reduced molar volume 29.28 28.98 cm /mol), indicating a denser more compact matrix. Optical studies revealed increased UV absorbance, red shift in cutoff wavelength, reduction...
Because of the high radiation dose in applications involving nuclear reactors, medical treatments etc., it is important to reduce exposure areas and workers. In this study, we were examined gamma ray shielding parameters newly produced Re-based superalloys. Mass attenuation coefficient (µ/ρ) alloys obtained experimentally at 81, 276, 302, 356, 383 keV photon energies emitted from 133Ba radioactive source using Ultra Ge detector. The experimental results compared with values by WinXCOM...
Purpose: Recently, there has been an increase in interest into research radioprotective agents. Radioprotectors are compounds that protect against radiation injury when given orally (through drinking water) prior to exposure. The purpose is achieve preferred protection of normal tissues inflicted by ionizing used treat tumors. main aim this work investigate energy absorption (EABF) and exposure buildup factors (EBF) commonly some agents.Materials methods: We have the Geometric Progression...
Abstract In the present work, nuclear radiation shielding proficiency of eight glassy alloys (Gd25RE25Co25Al25 (RE = Tb, Dy and Ho)) containing different amounts rare earth elements was investigated with MCNPX simulation codes. Mass attenuation coefficients ( μ / ρ ) were simulated in energy interval 0.2–20 MeV by exploiting codes, generated data found to match theoretical WinXCOM results. Next, other crucial photon parameters, effective atomic number (Z eff ), Half Value Layer (HVL), Mean...
