ABSTRACT Aphidius gifuensis is a parasitoid wasp that has been commercially bred and released in large scale as biocontrol agent for the management of aphid pests. As highly efficient endoparasitoid, it also an important model exploring mechanisms parasitism. Currently, artificially populations this are facing rapid decline with undetermined cause, underlying its strategy remain poorly understood. Exploring mechanism behind population host–parasitoid relationship impeded partly due to lack...
Root-knot nematodes (RKNs), including Meloidogyne species, are among the most destructive plant-parasites worldwide. Recent evidence suggests that entomopathogenic fungi (EPF) can antagonize RKNs. Such antagonistic effects likely mediated by toxic metabolites, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), produced fungi. However, how widespread these across EPF and which VOCs mediate negative interactions between RKNs needs to be further elucidated.
The aim of the research was to determine protective effect and mechanism Pteris wallichiana J. Agardh extract (PWE) on DSS-induced ulcerative colitis (UC) in mice. In this research, PWE is rich flavonoids diterpenoids by UPLC-MS/MS analysis. LPS-induced RAW264.7 cells, reduced productions inflammatory factors (i.e., NO, TNF-α, IL-6, IL-1β). UC mice, improved disease activity index (DAI) score, attenuated oxidative stress decreasing MPO MDA activities activating GSH SOD levels, inhibited...
Dioscorea cirrhosa is a plant that used as dye well in medicine. Many metabolites with pharmacological activity exist the tubers of D. . However, little known about mechanism regulating biosynthesis these metabolites. In this study, transcriptome and metabolome profiling were performed four color tubers. A total 531 metabolites, including 62 flavonoids, identified. Epicatechin proanthocyanin B2 key exhibited high content levels These divided into nine classes distinct change patterns. 22,865...
Purpose: This study aims to elucidate the role and mechanism of survivin FOXP1 in scarring after glaucoma surgery evaluate prevention treatment excessive wound healing scar formation an vitro model filtration surgery. Methods: Human Tenon's capsule fibroblasts (HTFs) were used with TGF-β establish cell glaucoma, observe expression model, HTFs proliferation inhibitor YM155 α-SMA collagen type I. In addition, effects knockdown observed by Western blot analysis. Results: Survivin was...
Summary Dispersal is an important behaviour for nematodes. Entomopathogenic nematodes (EPN) are able to regulate plant-parasitic in the field. However, mechanism interactions between two types of not clearly known. The effects 12 synthesised ascarosides, three EPN species ( Steinernema carpocapsae All, Heterorhabditis bacteriophora H06 and H. indica LN2), 15 symbiotic bacterial isolates from on dispersal Meloidogyne incognita were investigated. results revealed that M. juveniles repelled,...
