Gas hydrates are non-stoichiometric crystalline compounds that can block pipelines, representing a significant threat to subsea flow assurance. In addition, wax precipitation is also common issue in pipelines. Since the multiphase transported under low temperature and high-pressure conditions, formation of gas may occur simultaneously, potentially posing greater challenges The presence complicates hydrate issue. this work, influence on was experimentally investigated autoclave equipped with...

Hydrate formation and wax deposition pose great flow assurance challenges to subsea oil pipes, especially when the two phenomena co-occur. Wax crystals can have a significant impact on hydrate nucleation growth kinetics, but this phenomenon has not been studied in detail. Here, effect of was investigated using both molecular dynamics simulation methods experiments conducted custom-designed high-pressure autoclave equipped with an on-line viscometer. Both experimental results demonstrated...

Abstract Chromium‐doped α‐Fe 2 O 3 samples are successfully synthesized by using a ball‐milling‐assisted rheological phase method combined with heat treatment. The electronic properties of undoped and 4.0 at % Cr‐doped investigated first‐principles calculations. calculation results show that Cr doping can reduce the band gap impurity levels appear in gap. structure morphology evaluated X‐ray diffraction, field‐emission scanning electron microscopy, high‐resolution transmission microscopy....

Abstract In this study, a mathematic model is proposed for estimating the wax content of deposits. The was built based on diffusion molecules and counter‐diffusion oil described using Fick's second law, allowing stacking fraction orientational order precipitated crystals tortuosity path de‐waxed during counter‐diffusion. calculated results were verified by comparing with flow‐loop deposition experimental results. Dependence radial position, duration, bulk temperature, wall temperature...

Asphaltenes in crude oils may affect hydrate formation water–oil emulsions, complicating flow assurance and management subsea oil–gas multiphase pipelines. In this study, the effects of asphaltenes on nucleation growth water-in-oil emulsions were investigated. It was found that presence inhibited nucleation. The inhibiting effect enhanced with increase asphaltene content from 0 to 0.15 wt % then lowered further 0.30 %. decrease formed amount hydrates. addition, water cut, stirring rate,...

The electrocatalytic reduction of nitrate to ammonia (NH3) under mild environmental conditions is attracting increasing attention, in which efficient and inexpensive transition metal catalysts, with the advantages abundancy low cost, play a key role. However, synergistic activity selectivity promotion are still highly challenging. Herein, we developed hydrogel-assisted strategy prepare FeNi nanoparticles via situ adsorption Fe/Ni precursors on polypyrrole hydrogel. After optimization,...
