Abstract Acoustic sensors with ultrahigh sensitivity, broadband response, and high resolution are essential for high-precision nondestructive weak signal detection technology. In this paper, based on the size effect of an ultrahigh-quality ( Q ) calcium fluoride (CaF 2 resonator, a acoustic is detected by dispersive response regime in which acoustic, elastic wave modulates geometry converted to resonance frequency shift. Through structural design sensitivity reaches 11.54 V/Pa at 10 kHz...

An ultrasensitive fiber optic magnetic field sensor based on Fabry–Perot interferometer (FPI1) and magnetostrictive material Terfenol-D is proposed. A low fineness FPI1 made by inserting a tapered two-mode (TMF) into hollow-core (HCF). Due to the increased effective length of strain, particularly sensitive axial strain. Then, bonded FPI1. excellent stretching properties under action field, adhered also has high sensitivity field. The experiment found that in large range 9.7–92.4 mT, reached...
