ZnO nanomaterials with different shapes were synthesized, characterized and tested in the selective monitoring of low concentration CO NO₂ air. nanoparticles (NPs) nanofibers (NFs) synthesized by a modified sol-gel method supercritical conditions electrospinning technique, respectively. sensing tests have demonstrated that annealing temperature shape zinc oxide are key factors modulating electrical properties. Specifically, NPs annealed at high (700 °C) been found sensitive to CO, while they...

Calcium doped ZnO (CZO) nanopowders with [Ca]/[Zn] atomic ratios of 0, 0.01, 0.03 and 0.05 were prepared via a sol-gel route characterized by scanning electron microscopy, transmission x-ray diffraction Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). Characterization data showed that undoped Ca-doped samples have hexagonal wurtzite structure slight distortion the lattice no extra secondary phases, suggesting substitution Ca ions in structure.Chemo-resistive devices based on thick layer...

In this experimental study, we synthesized geopolymer materials with different amounts of nano-ZnO (0.3%, 0.5% and 0.7%). The effects the concentration on mechanical, structural thermal properties were studied in detail. XRD investigation revealed formation a glassy phase all samples small shift intense peak, which confirmed incorporation into matrix. FTIR analyses showed an increase geopolymerization after addition to paste. morphology inorganic polymers was by mercury intrusion porosimetry...

Abstract Nickel/carbon composites (Ni−C) have been synthesized by a pyrolysis treatment carried out at the temperature of 675 °C, NiO incorporated into pyrogallol‐formaldehyde organic wet gel. Structural and morphological characterizations Ni−C samples were performed XRD SEM analysis, respectively. Electrochemical non‐enzymatic glucose sensors fabricated modifying working electrode surface screen printed carbon electrodes. Cyclic voltammetry amperometric tests in order to investigate...

This paper reports on a study of the effects nano-alumina structural, mechanical and thermal properties geopolymer matrices. Sample composites were produced by mixing metakaolin, an alkaline solution (1%, 2% 3%) with constant L/S ratio 0.55. The resulting products investigated XRD, XRF, FTIR, SEM, MIP, TG/DTA compressive strength test. results showed that insertion powder improves strength. From FTIR XRD spectra, we found structure gel content enhanced, especially for optimized proportion...
