Due to the effects of capacity differences and other factors, congestion may occur at local nodes a network. This situation reduces reliability network leads regional deadlock. To improve system stability reduce influence road heterogeneity on traffic efficiency, macroscopic fundamental diagram (MFD) model nonuniform density is proposed. Second, based MFD model, two-level strategy for H∞ perimeter control flow regulation The upper layer uses an controller adjust inflow boundary congested...

Direct power scaling of an at-source scalar orbital angular momentum (OAM) laser is demonstrated in a Ho:YAG single-crystal fiber (SCF). Benefiting from the long gain region and large surface-to-volume ratio this fiber-like geometric structure, 100 W optical vortex (OAM = ℏ ) with high slope efficiency 66.0% achieved at 2.1 µm, which is, to best our knowledge, record OAM 2 µm spectral range opens new route for direct generation high-power, high-efficiency structure light beams.

In this note, we point out an error to the proof of Theorem 3.4 in Zhang and Xu (Int J Intell Syst 2014;29(12):1061–1078) by a counterexample. We find that inequality (i.e., ) with respect degrees indeterminacy any three Pythagorean fuzzy numbers Xu's paper is not valid. A new provided note.

This study provides an automated cooperative control method in multilane freeway merging areas within the connected and autonomous vehicle (CAV) technology. First, a lane-change model for mainline considering ramp traffic demand is proposed to determine which vehicles should change lanes from outer lane inner of upstream area. Second, time window on-ramp entering defined based on safe headway acceleration time. Then, linear programming decision adopted given window. A typical scene two-lane...

This paper presents an improved Intelligent Driving Model (Sigmoid-IDM) to address the issues of excessive acceleration in traffic oscillation and following failure free flow. The Sigmoid-IDM utilizes a Sigmoid function enhance starting-following characteristics, improve output strategy spacing term, stabilize steady-state velocity Furthermore, model's asymmetry is enhanced by introducing cautious distance, caution driving factor, segmentation function. anti-interference ability demonstrated...

For multiple-attribute decision making problems in Pythagorean fuzzy environment, few existing aggregation operators consider interrelationships among the attributes. To deal with this issue, article extends Bonferroni means to sets (PFSs) provide Fuzzy means. We first extend t-norm and its dual t-conorm propose generalized operational laws for PFSs, which can be considered as extensions of known ones. Based on these new laws, weighted mean operator geometric are developed, both them capture...

In the conventional human driving environment, due to poor traffic information transmission and inability actively control vehicles, variable speed limits (VSLs) ramp metering (RM) strategies often fail achieve desired results when dealing with merging zone of an expressway under high demand. To improve efficiency, integrated method for flow in area expressways is proposed by combining connected autonomous vehicle (CAV) active lane change (LC) technology traditional VSL entrance RM...

Abstract With the advancement of urbanization, cities are constructing expressways to meet complex travel demands. However, traditional link‐based road network design methods face challenges in addressing large‐scale expressway problems. This study proposes an method tailored for multi‐subregion networks. The employs macroscopic fundamental diagram model arterial dynamics and cell transmission capture dynamics. A stochastic user equilibrium is further established route choice, a decision...

Unlike the conventional mode-locked laser where cooling system is normally used for gain medium, here, we propose a new strategy to originally extend modelocked bandwidth through increasing crystal temperature. Mode-locking of thulium-laser with superbroadband (> 600 nm) centered at 2.05-μm has been realized, corresponding pulse duration 26 fs (3.5 optical cycles), which represents shortest pulses ever achieved from Tm/Ho-lasers in 2-μm spectral range and fewest cycles all present-day...
