We examined vertebral fracture (VF) prevalence, incidence, and treatment among 1488 older adults. VF prevalence incidence were higher in women, participants, those with low bone density. In addition to VFs being underdiagnosed (only 20.7% of clinically recognized), rates low, underscoring the need for improved screening management. To estimate osteoporotic progressions overall by sex, age, status describe proportion participants reporting osteoporosis (OP) medication use. This observational...

While grip strength (GS) is commonly assessed using a Dynamometer, the Martin Vigorimeter was proposed as an alternative method especially in older adults. However, its reference values for Swiss adults are missing. We therefore aimed to derive sex- and age-specific GS cut-points dominant non-dominant hand (DH; NDH) Vigorimeter.
