The dynamic variation in soluble EPS resulted into the fluctuation of activated sludge dewatering behavior full-scale WWTPs.
Two‐way shape changing polymers are attractive in recent years. In this short communication, carbon black (CB)/shape memory polyurethane (SMPU)‐elastic (EPU) laminated composite is prepared and electro‐active two‐way behavior reported for the first time. First, CB/SMPU demonstrates good recovery due to electricity conduction. When film elongated form polymer laminates by combining with EPU substrate, resulted CB/SMPU‐EPU laminate shows behavior, e.g., bending applying electric current,...
Abstract A novel flux‐pinning design for REBa 2 Cu 3 O 7‐δ (REBCO) films intended high‐field magnet applications is proposed, which based on BaCuO nanorods in Gd 0.5 Yb Ba (Gd BCO) films. The metal–organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) process has been developed to achieve the desired microstructure. influence of MOCVD parameters microstructure and critical current behavior BCO systematically investigated. morphology density crystallites within are highly sensitive temperature, oxygen...
Abstract We study the feasibility of persistent-mode operation a high temperature superconducting (HTS) magnet with flux pump for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). For experiment, non-insulated REBCO pancake coil was constructed, featuring an inner diameter 30 mm, outer 112 and inductance 12 mH. The current loop magnet, switch joints had resistance 2.67×10 -9 Ω at 77 K caused by soldered between tapes. A coupled section wire in to compensate energy dissipation assembly due its...
The critical current behavior of REBa2Cu3O7−δ (REBCO, with RE = Yb, Y, Ho, Dy, Gd, Eu, GdYb, DyY, GdY, EuY, SmY, GdEu, GdSm) superconducting tapes has been systematically studied for the temperature range 10–77 K, magnetic field 0–5 T and orientation (angle between tape) 0°–180°. We report that size dependencies in-field density (Jc) at low temperatures (below 40 K) are significantly different from those 77 K. In a 1–3 applied Jc REBCO films increases ionic radius (r). EuBCO film, largest r...
We have developed a thermo-compression soldering appliance for joining rare-earth barium copper oxide (REBCO) tapes with excellent control of process temperature and pressure. With this tool, we systematically investigated the effects parameters solder materials on electrical mechanical performances soldered joints between REBCO superconducting laminated stabilizers. A highly efficient synthetic route has been established for the gram-scale production of fucose–aglycon (Fuc–Agl) and fucose–saccharosamine (Fuc–Sac) fragments in saccharomicins B. The β-glycosidic bonds within these structural components were formed through successive rhodium(II) Brønsted-acid-catalyzed glycosylation, utilizing a stable thioglycosyl donor. Subsequent steps involving installation protecting groups yielded functionalized that are suitable further assembly saccharomicins.
A no-insulation solenoid magnet for persistent mode operation has been designed and constructed. The closed loop assembly used a 172-m-long REBCO superconducting tape, including 130 m the magnet, 6 switch, 36 soldered joints. coil is of 30 mm ID, 68 OD, 40 length, 840 turns in 105 layers, inductance 20 mH. joint operating with field decay rate 18.8 ppm/h at temperature K. Its current 88.35 A, to achieve central magnetic 1.5 T. circuit resistance 1.04 × 10 <sup...
