Abstract Oncolytic virus therapy leads to immunogenic death of virus-infected tumor cells and this has been shown in preclinical models enhance the cytotoxic T-lymphocyte response against tumor-associated antigens (TAAs), leading killing uninfected cells. To investigate whether oncolytic virotherapy can increase immune responses human subjects, we studied T-cell a panel known myeloma TAAs using PBMC samples obtained from ten patients before after systemic administration an measles encoding...

Glioblastoma (GBM) patients suffer from a dismal prognosis, with standard of care therapy inevitably leading to therapy-resistant recurrent tumors. The presence cancer stem cells (CSCs) drives the extensive heterogeneity seen in GBM, prompting need for novel therapies specifically targeting this subset tumor-driving cells. Here, we identify CD70 as potential therapeutic target GBM CSCs.

Brain metastases (BM) are mainly treated palliatively with an expected survival of less than 12 months after diagnosis. In many solid tumors, the human neural stem cell marker glycoprotein CD133 is a tumor-initiating population that contributes to therapy resistance, relapse, and metastasis.

Mg-ion supercapacitors (SCs) can be a potential candidate for advanced electrochemical energy storage devices because they are low-cost and safe have long-term cycling stability. However, exhibiting high density while preserving power is still challenge supercapacitors, which limits their practical applications. Herein, we proposed cathode CoMn2O4 nanospheres embedded in N-doped graphene (CMO/G-N) prepared via an improvised hydrothermal route. The material exhibited capacitance of 691 F g–1...

Abstract Introduction. VSV-IFNβ-NIS is an oncolytic vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV; Rhabdovirus family) with rapid replication kinetics and potent antitumor activity. encodes the human interferon beta (IFNβ) gene as a STING agonist sodium iodide symporter (NIS) reporter for tracking pharmacokinetics (PK) of in infected tumors. In this study, the effect of applying nutrient limitation on production Poly-hydro-oxy-butyric acid (PHB) from soil bacteria was examined. PHB is a biodegradable polymer which provides reserve carbon and energy. extracted by chloroform dispersion method. The amount synthesized determined as crotonic spectrophotometry. We found that Nitrogen limiting condition stimulated accumulation. highest level accumulation observed in DNB-6 strain accumulated 31 % dry mass at 20 glucose concentration....
