Adamantanes (amantadine and rimantadine) have been used to prevent treat influenza A virus infections for many years; however, resistance these drugs has widely reported in the world. To investigate frequency distribution of M2 gene mutations adamantane-resistant variants circulated world between 1902 2013, 31251 available protein sequences from different HA-subtype viruses (H1–H17) were analyzed adamantane resistance-associated compared (L26F, V27A, A30T, A30V, S31N, G34E, L38F). We find...

Previous palaeoclimatic studies in the northeastern Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau (NETP) during Holocene, mainly using lake sediments, have deepened our understanding of climatic system this remote region. The timing and forcing mechanisms change region are still controversial, however. Aeolian sand silt deposits, which widely distributed NETP, can be readily dated by optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) techniques reveal sensitive response landscape to change. In study, aeolian loess at six...

H9N2 influenza A viruses have become established worldwide in terrestrial poultry and wild birds, are occasionally transmitted to mammals including humans pigs. To comprehensively elucidate the genetic evolutionary characteristics of viruses, we performed a large-scale sequence analysis 571 viral genomes from NCBI Influenza Virus Resource Database, representing spectrum isolated 1966 2009. Our study provides panoramic framework for better understanding genesis evolution describing history...

To trace the source of avian H7N9 viruses, we collected 99 samples from 4 live poultry markets and family farms 3 patients in Hangzhou city Zhejiang province, China. We found that almost all positive came chickens ducks markets. These results strongly suggest are major recent human infections with city, province Therefore, control measures needed, not only domestic bird population, but also to reduce infection risk.

H1N1 influenza has brought serious threats to people's health and a high socioeconomic burden society. Oseltamivir, kind of neuraminidase (NA) inhibitor, is the second-generation specific drug that broadly used currently. However, viruses have exhibited oseltamivir resistance in past decades, which might be hidden danger. To understand frequency distribution laws oseltamivir-resistant viruses, we conducted thorough deep analysis available NA protein sequences worldwide from 1918 2020. The...

A cross-bifix-free code is a set of words in which no prefix any length word the suffix set. Cross-bifix-free codes arise study distributed sequences for frame synchronization. We provide new construction generalizes by Bajic to longer lengths and alphabet size. The are shown be nearly optimal also establish results on Fibonacci sequences, used estimating size codes.

During the deregulation of retail power market, multiple stakeholders are gradually involved in distribution network to invest distributed resources and participate transactions, bringing great uncertainty grid operations. This paper proposes a novel robust coordination expansion planning method that considers non-network solutions deregulated including closed-loop demand response other controllable strategies. A double-nested game model is constructed simulate bi-directional interaction...

Multiple-replicon resistance plasmids have become important carriers of genes in Gram-negative bacteria, and the evolution multiple-replicon is still not clear. Here, 56 isolates Klebsiella isolated from different wild animals environments between 2018 2020 were identified by phenotyping via micro-broth dilution method sequenced analyzed for bacterial genome-wide association study. Our results revealed that non-human sources showed more extensive drug especially strong to ampicillin (up...

In the future power system, characterized by massive integration of distributed energy resources (DERs), AC/DC hybrid network represents a highly promising technology that will play crucial role at distribution levels. As essential analytical tools for networks, Newton-Raphson (N-R) based unified flow methods have been developed and widely used. However, N-R method encounters challenges such as divergence, multiple solutions, high sensitivity to initial values when solving problems in...
