A novel electrochemical method for the sensitive determination of trace Sudan I at a polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) modified acetylene black carbon paste electrode (PVP/CPE) based on enhancement effect sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS) was reported. Compared with poor response bare (CPE), well-defined oxidation peak observed PVP CPE. The current further enhanced addition SDS, which attributed to SDS PVP/CPE. Under optimal working conditions, proportional its concentration in range 2.0 × 10−7–8.0...

The voltammetric behavior of methylene blue (MB, or MB+ in solution) at a silver electrode has been studied. can exhibit cathodic peak about −0.2 V (vs. SCE), while the electrogenerated LMB (leucomethylene blue) exhibits an anodic almost same potential neutral phosphate buffer. In presence some surfactants such as cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB), cetylpyridinium (CPB) and gemini surfactant butyl-α,ω-bis(dimethylcetylammonium bromide) (C16C4C16), peaks, specially peak, become higher...

Six novel collectors, 2-(octylthio)aniline (2-OA), 3-(octylthio)aniline (3-OA), 4-(octylthio)aniline (4-OA), 1,2-bis(octylthio)benzene (2-OB), 1,3-bis(octylthio)benzene (3-OB) and 1,4-bis(octylthio)benzene (4-OB) were synthesized newly introduced as collectors in the flotation of copper sulfide ores. Collector PAX was used a standard to evaluate performance using two kinds ore samples. The results showed that especially collector 2-OA, had strongest capacity, with highest recovery 95.6% from...

The electrochemical behaviors of estrone at various carbonaceous nanomaterials-dihexadecyl hydrogen phosphate (DHP) composite films coated glassy carbon electrodes were investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV), linear sweep (LSV), chronocoulometry (CC) and impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Comparing with the acetylene black (AB) nanofiber (CNF), multi-wall nanotubes (MWCNTs)-DHP film showed best performance towards oxidation estrone, reflected significantly enhanced current in voltammograms as...

Nanoporous materials with organic frameworks (3PDVB/MA-1) have been successfully synthesized in the microchannel through solvothermal polymerization of divinylbenzene and methacrylic acid presence tetrahydrofuran. The material has disordered mesopores uniform pore size (~50 nm) high BET surface area (415 m 2 g -1 ). In adsorption heavy metal cations Co 2+ wastewater, mesoporous resins exhibit superior performances, thus great potential water treatments.

There is a growing interest in the development of new iron chelators as novel promising therapeutic strategies for neurodegenerative disorders. In this article, series mono(catecholamine) derivatives, 2,3-bis(hydroxy)- N -(hydroxyacyl)benzamide, containing pendant hydroxy, have been synthesized and fully characterized by NMR, FTIR MS. The thermodynamic stability with Fe III , Mg II Zn ions was then investigated. enable formation (3:1) complexes high exhibited improved selectivity to ion....

A highly active catalyst AgI/Ag 3 PO 4 /BaTiO with the synergistic effect of photocatalysis and piezoelectricity was prepared, which can remove 100% Nitenpyram (NTP) in a wide pH range within 10 minutes. This piezo-photocatalyst dual Z-scheme shows higher NTP degradation rate than their mono-material binary composites. The apparent constant removal is 2.12 times that second-performing catalyst. In quenching experiment, h + ·O 2 - were observed to be main substance former contributes most....
