Abstract Ag 2+ centres are produced in doped and appropriately treated AgCl crystals by irradiation with blue light at 20 ° K. It is shown that the only purpose of preceding treatment to create a high concentration electron traps. In chalcogen (AgCl:S, Se, Te) traps formed pre‐irradiation above 120 K; iron incorporated Fe ions converted 3+ , acting as traps, either C or annealing chlorine gas. As paramagnetic data localized independent kind impurity, one must conclude hole trapped...

Collective cell migration is a key driver of tissue morphogenesis and cancer invasion. Here, we identified the tumor suppressor Ras association domain-containing protein 8 (RASSF8) as WAVE interactor required for border migration. RASSF8 colocalizes with F-actin adhesion molecules at cell– contacts. Loss function results in cohesion defects, phenotype associated changes localization Echinoid (Ed) Coracle (Cora). Cell-type-specific RNA interference (RNAi) experiments suggest that defects are...

Abstract ESR measurements are made on Ni‐doped AgCl at low temperatures. As in the case of AgBr:Ni, already investigated, a line with isotropic g ‐value is found, due to isolated Ni 2+ . Cell motility is crucial for many biological processes including morphogenesis, wound healing, and cancer invasion. The WAVE regulatory complex (WRC) a central Arp2/3 regulator driving cell downstream of activation by Rac GTPase. CYFIP-related Rac1 interactor (CYRI) proteins are thought to compete with WRC interaction in feedback loop regulating lamellipodia dynamics. However, the physiological role CYRI vivo healthy tissues unclear. Here, we used Drosophila as model system study function at...

Abstract The interpretation of the EPR spectrum suggests two alternative models: five gold atoms or three with boron atoms, respectively, form a cluster occupying lattice sites and adjacent interstitial sites. This tends to further precipitation. Both paramagnetic gold‐related centres – that one atom are assumed belong group acceptor levels in Si:Au.
