골조직공학에서는 자유 형상 제작 기술이 3차원 바이오 세라믹 인공지지체를 만드는데 효율적으로 적용된다. 본 연구에서는 선택적 레이저 소결 기술을 기반으로 한 자체 개발된 적층 시스템을 이용하여 생체 재료의 제작하였다. BCP 인공지지체들은 800μm의 공극크기와 1,200μm의 선폭을 가지며, 전체크기가 9.2×9.2×8.8㎣로 제작되었다. 공극들은 상호연결 되어 있으며 공극률은 약 44.8±5%로 측정되었다. 제작된 소결로에서 950, 1,050, 1,150, 그리고 1,250°C로 소결되었다. 소결온도가 증가할수록, 수축률과 증가하는 결론을 얻었다. 세포증식평가는 MG-63 세포를 이용한 CCK-8 분석을 통하여 수행되었으며, 소결된 모든 인공지지체에서 세포증식이 잘 이루어짐을 확인하였다.
