Abstract A 57‐year‐old man with type 1 diabetes was admitted diabetic ketoacidosis during the COVID‐19 pandemic. On examination, there evidence of severe lipohypertrophy on his abdomen. Repeated injection subcutaneous insulin into areas thought to have contributed development ketoacidosis.

Spinal cord injury-induced hyponatremia is an under-recognized entity, without a mention in the European guidelines. We present case of 56-year-old female quadraplegic patient with cervical injury, presenting severe and tonic-clonic seizures. This highlights challenges medical management; action mechanisms are further discussed.
