The Iseult project started in 2001 and is a collaborative effort involving CEA the University of Freiburg academics, Guerbet, Siemens Healthineers Bruker Biospin as industrial partners. One central aspect has been design by whole-body magnet 11.7T field strength with 90-cm wide bore. After nearly 20 years research development, prototyping, integration tests, first images have acquired this unique MRI scanner. Some key validation results are presented here.
