Abstract Activating NRAS mutations occur in 15-25% of all melanomas. However, this subtype remains refractory to existing therapeutics, including immunotherapy and RAS inhibitors; therefore, identifying innovative treatment strategies is utmost importance. We investigated the role nitrosylation, a nitric oxide-induced post-translational modification, melanoma progression therapeutic resistance. Inhibiting nitrosylation sensitized NRAS-mutant melanomas targeted MEK inhibitors (MEKi), leading...

Multiple myeloma (MM) is a plasma cell malignancy characterized by cytogenetic heterogeneity. In comparison with conventional karyotyping, fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) can efficiently detect various genetic changes non-cycling cells 50-90 per cent of MM cases. The present study was undertaken patients to evaluate the frequency and clinico-pathological significance abnormalities Indian population.Interphase FISH applied on purified 475 using specific probes. Interphase for 1q...

The diagnostic significance of three polyamines (putrescine, spermidine and spermine), carcinoembryonic antigen phosphoglucose isomerase have been compared in sera patients with breast cancer or benign disease normal age matched controls. results the study indicate that performance spermine was more striking than any other markers. estimation may prove to be a valuable parameter not only detection but also prediction recurrence disease.

Background: The second most common solid tumor in children is Neuroblastoma (NB). In about 90% of cases NB, elevated levels catecholamines or its metabolites are found the urine blood which includes Vanillylmandelic Acid (VMA) and Homovanillic (HVA). Ferritin, Neuron-Specific Enolase (NSE) Lactate Dehydrogenase (LDH) commonly assessed suspected to have these markers used for differential diagnosis. Multiple clinical imaging tests needed accurate patient assessment. Iodine 123(123I)...

e18004 Background: Vitamin-D deficiency is a global problem due to lack of sunlight exposure or dietary deficiency. Few studies have correlated vitamin-D with poor outcome in patients diffuse large B-cell lymphomas and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Expression receptors on both normal malignant hematopoietic cells suggests its possible role pathogenesis, response therapy as potential therapeutic target haematological cancers. Given the high prevalence malnutrition our country impact...

Background: Multiple myeloma (MM) is cancer of the plasma cell characterized by interpatient heterogeneity, in most cases it incurable. It second common hematological malignancy. Overall survival patients has significantly increased recently. Lot research going on for prognostic factors, which can predict disease and response to therapy. During past decades, biomarkers: M protein β2 microglobulin have shaped knowledge about MM. This study was undertaken evaluate role factors newly diagnosed...
