The overuse of antibiotics in poultry farming has led to the emergence multidrug-resistant pathogens, posing severe threats animal health and public safety. Salmonella Pullorum (S. Pullorum), a host-specific pathogen targeting poultry, causes high mortality chicks disrupts intestinal health. This study evaluated protective effects Bifidobacterium bifidum postbiotics (BbP) against S. infection, focusing on their mechanisms regulating pyroptosis, restoring barrier function, modulating gut...

Stimulator of interferon response cGAMP interactor 1 (STING), a central hub protein cyclic GMP-AMP synthase (cGAS)-STING signalling pathway, has crucial role in regulating type I interferons (IFNs) production and response. Recent studies indicate that excessive activation STING is strongly associated with autoimmune diseases, including systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Searching immunomodulators negatively regulate might greatly contribute to the suppression autoimmunity.

In December 2021, a wildlife conservation base in Hunan, China, reported illness and death among its captive Myocastor coypus population. A gram‐positive pathogen was isolated from the affected animals. The 16S rDNA sequence of strain approximately 1,500 bp long exhibited 98.4% homogeneity with Staphylococcus cohnii found sea cucumbers. Interestingly, biochemical reactions were consistent characteristics S. . LD100 for BALB/c mice 1.2 × 10 7 CFU/g, while MLD 0.6 CFU/g. Inflammatory cell...
