Since the outbreak of COVID-19, a variety vaccine platforms have been developed. Amongst these, inactivated vaccines authorized for emergency use or conditional marketing in many countries. To further enhance protective immune responses populations that completed vaccination regimen, we investigated immunogenic characteristics different and tried homologous heterologous boost strategy post two doses mouse model. Our results showed humoral cellular induced by when administered individually...
Carbon emissions have resulted in severe ecological damage, jeopardizing the very existence of humanity. In China, carbon from urban areas contribute to 80% total emissions, this significant contribution underscores importance addressing emissions. To gain insights into spatial patterns at fine-scale regional level, study utilizes Xi'an as a case study, constructs emission estimation model based on energy consumption and NPP-VIIRS-like NTL data, quantifies multiscale 2000 2021. Furthermore,...
Abstract Metal halide perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have garnered much attention in recent years. Despite the remarkable advancements PSCs utilizing traditional metal electrodes, challenges such as stability concerns and elevated costs necessitated exploration of innovative electrode designs to facilitate industrial commercialization. Herein, a physically chemically stable molybdenum (Mo) is developed fundamentally tackle instability factors introduced by electrodes. The combined spatially...
Abstract Drought disaster space agglomeration assessment is one of the important components meteorological prevention and mitigation. Agriculture affected by drought not only a serious threat to world food security, but also an obstacle sustainable development. Additionally, China agricultural import export country in world. Therefore, we used global Moran’s I local indicators spatial autocorrelation (LISA) reveal from1978 2016, respectively. The results showed that China’s presents...
Abstract Antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs) have demonstrated effectiveness in treating various cancers, particularly exhibiting specificity targeting human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)‐positive breast cancer. Recent advancements phase 3 clinical trials broadened current understanding of ADCs, especially trastuzumab deruxtecan, other HER2‐expressing malignancies. This expansion knowledge has led to the US Food and Drug Administration's approval deruxtecan for HER2‐positive HER2‐low...
This paper reports the fabrication of regular large-area laser-induced periodic surface structures (LIPSSs) in indium tin oxide (ITO) films via femtosecond laser direct writing focused by a cylindrical lens. The LIPSSs exhibited good properties as nanowires, with resistivity almost equal to that initial ITO film. By changing fluence, nanowire resistances could be tuned from 15 73 kΩ/mm consistency ±10%. Furthermore, average transmittance range 1200–2000 nm was improved 21% 60%. LIPSS is...
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an inflammatory autoimmune disease triggered by antigenic peptides with environmental and genetic risk factors. It has been shown that antigen-specific targeting could be a promising therapeutical strategy for RA restoring immune tolerance to self-antigens without compromising normal immunity. Citrullination of antigens enhances properties induces responses. Here, we showed citrullinated (citAg) vaccine ameliorated collagen-induced decreased T-helper 1 (Th1) Th17...
Glioblastoma (GBM) is a brain tumor characterized by its aggressive and invasive properties. It found that STAT3 abnormally activated in GBM, inhibiting signaling can effectively suppress progression. In this study, novel pyrimidine compounds, BY4003 BY4008, were synthesized to target the JAK3/STAT3 pathway, their therapeutic efficacy mechanisms of action evaluated compared with Tofacitinib U251, A172, LN428 patient-derived glioblastoma cells. The ADP-Glo™ kinase assay was utilized assessed...
Abstract Photocatalytic water splitting is capable of converting abundant solar energy into environmentally friendly and renewable chemical energy, presenting a promising solution to alleviate the crisis combat environmental pollution. The development high‐performance photocatalysts crucial for significantly improving efficiency hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) involved. Polyoxometalate (POM)‐derived materials, known their tunable compositions, diverse structures, electron storage/release...
Abstract The widely used spiro‐OMeTAD exhibits moderate interaction with the perovskite layer, which does not decrease defect on surface, thus limiting photoelectric performance of solar cells. In this work, structure is functionalized chlorine (Cl), resulting in a new material labeled spiro‐mCl, interacts more effectively and passivating interface defects. addition, strong electronegativity Cl lowers Highest Occupied Molecular Orbitals (HOMO) energy level better match valence band...
Abstract Background Chronic kidney disease (CKD) presents a growing global health challenge, with significant variability in burden across different regions and countries. This study aimed to analyze the trends incidence, prevalence, mortality, disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) for CKD from 1990 2019, utilizing data Global Burden of Disease Study. Methods We conducted an in-depth on age-standardized DALYs CKD, assessed over 30-year period. Additionally, we explored associations between...
Lens vesicle closure is a pivotal event in ocular morphogenesis, and its disruption underlies Peters anomaly, leading congenital cause of corneal opacity. Here, we elucidate mechanistic hierarchy which mTOR-Wnt signaling orchestrates cytoskeletal tension to drive this process. Conditional ablation mTOR the lens ectoderm induces aberrant corneal-lenticular stalk formation transdifferentiation ciliary margin into neural retina. inhibition suppresses Wnt3 expression, displayed similar...
ABSTRACT To prepare undergraduates for complex careers, interdisciplinary higher education is gaining popularity. However, implementing learning in engineering management challenging due to the and intertwined knowledge structures. While smart platforms provide access extensive bases, intricate web of relationships can overwhelm undergraduates. Therefore, innovative technologies are needed create a coherent system. Knowledge graphs, derived from artificial intelligence, pivotal tools...
Background/Objectives: Enterovirus 71 (EV71) and coxsackieviruses A16 (CA16), A10 (CA10), A6 (CA6) are the primary pathogens that cause hand, foot, mouth disease (HFMD). Currently, many manufacturers developing bivalent, trivalent, tetravalent vaccines target these antigens. Cell-based neutralization assay (CBNA), gold standard for detecting neutralizing antibodies (NtAbs), which used as indicators of HFMD vaccine efficacy, has several limitations. We aimed to develop a novel NtAbs against...
Abstract Interface engineering has proven to be an effective approach for passivating interfacial imperfections mitigate non‐radiative recombination, but the subpar interface quality between perovskite and charge transport layer hindered advancements in extraction transport. Herein, localized tunneling passivated contacts are presented using self‐assembled one‐dimensional (1D) perovskitoid through situ reaction between1‐ethyl‐2‐methylpyridinium iodide ([EtMePy]I) PbI 2 . The formation of a...
