Abrasive-free polishing (AFP) has been developed for processing of soft, hygroscopic (KDP) crystal according to its deliquescence property. A new nonaqueous abrasive-free slurry, composed water, dodecanol, and Triton X-100, is designed the AFP process. In this function which enveloped into surfactant micelles no direct contact with KDP in absence pressure, dissolve surface material AFP. The experiments show that removal rate (MRR) nonlinearly dependent on pressure platen speed; MRR as high...

Chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) has become an essential process in the manufacturing of advanced microelectronic devices. More recently, CMP also been applied to other materials such as optical crystals and thin films. Typically, a slurry is formulated aqueous dispersion which may contain abrasive particles, activating agent, passivating surfactant, etc. Due its sensitivity water, hygroscopic must not be processed with based slurry. In this study, new abrasive-free system on water-in-oil...

Abstract Mechanical properties of potassium dihydrogen phosphate single crystal (KH2PO4, KDP) at room temperature were investigated using nanoindentation approaches. This study was carried out for two crystallographic planes KDP crystal, (001) plane and the tripler plane. The hardness reduced modulus values calculated by most commonly used Oliver–Pharr method. It found that exhibited significant peak load dependence. Furthermore, strong anisotropy observed on tested surfaces. At same time,...

Platinum (Pt) resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) are extensively employed as thin film sensors. However, agglomeration of Pt films occurs above 800°C due to grain boundary grooving on the free surface, ultimately limiting its application at high temperatures. In this work, a RTD was prepared by depositing multilayer Al 2 O xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">3 protective...

To address the issues of low processing efficiency, poor forming accuracy, and internal damage in glass material processing, this study proposes use flame jet forming. However, mechanism requires further elucidation. This research investigates relationship between indentation morphology on surface inlet velocity jet. A theoretical model was established through mathematical analysis to reflect relationship. The model’s accuracy validated using numerical simulation methods. By comparing...

The pure pursuit (PP) method has been widely employed in automated guided vehicles (AGVs) to address path tracking challenges. However, the traditional exhibits certain limitations performance. For instance, selecting a look-ahead point that is too close can lead oscillations during tracking, while one far away result slow and corner-cutting issues. To these challenges, this paper proposes multistep prediction method. First, distance calculation equation adjusted by incorporating curvature,...
