Abstract In this paper, we investigated the dielectric properties of (In + Nb) co-doped rutile TiO 2 single crystal and polycrystalline ceramics. Both them showed colossal, up to 10 4 , permittivity at room temperature. The sample one relaxation process with a large loss. voltage-dependence impedance spectrum suggest that high originated from surface barrier layer capacitor (SBLC). spectroscopy different temperature confirmed ceramic had semiconductor grains insulating grain boundaries...

Rare-earth iron garnet thin films with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy (PMA) have recently attracted a great deal of attention for spintronic applications. Thulium (TmIG) has been successfully grown and TmIG/Pt heterostructures characterized. However, TmIG is not the only rare-earth that can be PMA. We report growth, magnetic, properties epitaxial terbium (TbIG) europium (EuIG) Reciprocal space mapping shows are lattice matched to substrate without strain relaxation, even up 56 nm thick....

In this paper, we report a large lateral photovoltaic effect (LPE) with ultrafast relaxation time in SnSe/p-Si junctions. The LPE shows linear dependence on the position of laser spot, and sensitivity is as high 250 mV mm−1. optical response are about 100 ns 2 μs, respectively. current-voltage curve surface SnSe film indicates formation an inversion layer at interface. Our results clearly suggest that most excited-electrons diffuse laterally interface, which time. positional make junction...

The lateral photovoltaic (LPV) effect has attracted much attention for a long time because of its application in position-sensitive detectors (PSD). Here, we report the ultrafast response LPV amorphous MoS2/Si (a-MoS2/Si) junctions prepared by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique. Different orientations built-in field and breakover voltages are observed a-MoS2 films deposited on p- n-type Si wafers, resulting induction positive negative a-MoS2/n-Si a-MoS2/p-Si upon illumination,...

Ionic movement has received renewed attention in recent years, particularly the field of ferroelectric oxides, since it is intrinsically linked to chemical reaction kinetics and phase stability. The associated surface electrochemical processes coupled local ionic transport with an applied electric bias, exhibiting very high mobility at room temperature based on a simple electrostatics scenario. However, few studies have focused applied-polarity dependence migration directly visualized maps....

In this paper, we report a sensitive lateral photovoltaic effect (LPE) in Fe3O4/3C-SiC Schottky junctions with fast relaxation time at near-ultraviolet wavelengths. The rectifying behavior suggests that the large build-in electric field was formed junctions. This device has excellent position sensitivity as high 67.8 mV mm-1 illuminated by 405 nm laser. optical of LPE is about 30 μs. and positional make junction promising candidate for wide range ultraviolet/near-ultraviolet optoelectronic...

Abstract The canonical description of structures lies in two aspects: 1) basic structural elements and 2) arrangement pattern between those elements. This tidy is very successful facilitates the development structure physics tremendously. Through this, people become capable classifying, comparing, analyzing an extremely wide range structures, including crystals, quasi-crystals, liquid semi-crystalline materials, so on. However, it gradually realizes that many novel materials devices exhibit...

We report the tunneling electroresistance effect (TER) in a Pt/BaTiO3(BTO)/Nb:SrTiO3 (n-STO) ferroelectric tunnel junction (FTJ). Using transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and piezoresponse force we find that thick BaTiO3 (5 nm) film is epitaxial of high quality. A large ON/OFF resistance ratio more than 104% at room temperature observed.
