In this paper, we demonstrate a novel GOA (gate driver on array) circuit which has self‐compensation function. This not only reduces the number of TFTs but also improves reliability characteristics AMOLED panels. Meanwhile there is no additional cost compared to conventional structure. Several normal sub pixel arrangements were introduced in this paper, including RGB Stripe and PenTile RGBG. The paper compared the advantage disadvantage of each arrangement. RGBG includes only two color channels, which causing leakage image distortion.
