Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 (NBT), Ce-doped NBT (NBTCe), Fe-doped (NBTFe), and (Ce,Fe)-codoped (NBTCeFe) thin films were fabricated on LaNiO3(100)/Si substrates by metal organic decomposition. The leakage current density of NBTCeFe at 500 kV/cm is reduced approximately two orders magnitude reducing the oxygen vacancies forming defect complexes, compared with film. The snowflake-like hierarchical structured WO<sub>3</sub> arrays photoanode was fabricated on the FTO conductive glass. In this photoanode, a high aspect ratio sandwich-like structure is more conducive to charge transfer, and unique snowflake like can improve carrier separation efficiency. As expected, obtained yield improved photocurrent density of 2.3 mA·cm<sup>-2</sup>, which approximately 3.96 times than that nanosheet photoanode.
