Abstract The native microbiomes of citrus trees play important roles in plant health, with good communication between the microbiome and host plant. Here, we report on endophytes 24 varieties nine growing regions China; some were healthy others had asymptomatic or symptomatic huanglongbing, which is caused by pathogen Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus ( C Las). We used culture-dependent analysis characterized isolates partial 16S rRNA gene sequencing. compared different varieties, regions,...
During the last decade, experimental evidence has demonstrated an important role of hypoxia, which leads to neuronal cell death and angiogenesis, in mechanisms seizure precipitation recurrence. MicroRNA-199 targets hypoxia-inducible factor-1alpha (HIF-1α), recently been implicated pathophysiology hypoxic state brain injury. However, little is known about roles HIF-1α human epileptogenic process. In this study, we investigated expression miR-199a-5p, miR-199b-5p using real-time PCR,...
CPT-11 (irinotecan) is one of the most efficient agents used for colorectal cancer chemotherapy. However, as many other chemotherapeutic drugs, how to minimize side effects still needs be thoroughly described. This study aimed develop CPT-11-loaded DSPE-PEG 2000 targeting EGFR liposomal delivery system and characterize its specificity therapeutic effect on (CRC) cells in vitro vivo. The synthesized liposome exhibited spherical shapes (84.6 ± 1.2 nm 150.4 0.8 estimated average sizes), good...
Abstract DNA methylation plays a crucial role in regulating fruit ripening and seed development. It remains unknown about the dynamic characteristics of its regulation mechanisms morpho-physiological dormancy (MPD)-typed seeds with recalcitrant characteristics. The Panax notoginseng are defined by MPD characterized strong sensitivity to dehydration during after-ripening process. We performed methylomes, siRNA profiles, transcriptomes embryo endosperm P. at different stages. Herein, we find...
Compared with conventional polypectomy after adrenaline injection, loop-assisted is considered more effective and has less post-procedural bleeding in endoscopic resection of large pedunculated colonic polyps [1]. However, postpolypectomy still exists because the loop slips off stalk or a thin transected by [2]. We used two clips to fasten at root avoid slipping transecting polyp. Moreover, we removed polyp successfully without bleeding, disappeared one month later.
Recently, a new bacterial top rot disease of maize has frequently appeared in many areas Yunnan Province, China. The pathogen the was identified as Klebsiella pneumoniae (KpC4), which is well known to cause pulmonary and urinary diseases humans animals occasionally exists harmless endophyte plants. To evaluate virulence mice, we inoculated mice with routine inoculation intraperitoneal injection respectively according Koch's postulates. results showed that KpC4 clinical strain K. 138 (Kp138)...
The glucoamylase@ZIF-8 was prepared using ZIF-8 material as the carrier in this study. preparation process optimized by response surface methodology, and stability of determined. characterized scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. results showed that optimum 1.65 mol 2-methylimidazole, 5.85 mL glucoamylase, 33°C stirring temperature, 90 min time, 84.0230% ± 0.6006% embedding rate. At 100°C, free glucoamylase completely lost its activity,...
Klebsiella pneumoniae is not only a human and animal opportunistic pathogen, but food-borne pathogen. Cross-kingdom infection has been focused on since K. was identified as the pathogen of maize, banana, pomegranate. Although pathogenicity strains (from ditch water, human) plant mice confirmed, there are no reports to explain molecular mechanisms This study uncovered KpC4 isolated from maize top rot for determination various virulence genes resistance genes. At least thirteen disease-causing...
Abstract Elastomer‐based interfaces provide rich functionalities for tactile sensing, particularly in making tiny differences contact dynamics potentially detectable. However, the minimal motion‐induced changes elastomer's surface and their disappearance during time‐lapse limit state recognition within current scheme of motion recognition. In this work, a new real‐time mode subtle deformations is proposed, which uses an optical sensing system to visualize distinguish variations profile...
Abstract Here we describe the protocol for Tn5-mediated high-throughput genome-wide translocation sequencing (Tn5-HTGTS). Tn5-HTGTS combines Tn5-tagmentation and translocation-cloning to capture translocations from intended bait sites (Fig. 1). Firstly, genomic DNA was tagmented with Tn5. Next, a biotin-tagged primer used enrich junctions. The products were subsequently amplified an additional digested block uncut sequences. fragments barcoded next-generation using nested PCR tag PCR.
Stem End Rot (SER) is a devastating post-harvest disease of mango fruits causing severe losses during storage. In 22 July 2023, 31 out 50 intact mangoes (cv. Sensation) collected from five orchards in Huaping county (26°37'N 101°15') showed typical symptoms SER after stored for 9 d room temperature (24-28℃). Initially, small dark brown to black spots appeared around the fruit peduncle, which rapidly expanded through pulp tissues. The symptomatic were surface disinfected by 3% NaClO 30 s...
Abstract BACKGROUND Fern root starch has a high percentage of amylose and great potential for application in the field slow‐digesting foods. Clarifying effect treatment conditions on fern is key to achieving industrialized production resistant starch. In present study, was treated by autoclave‐enzymatic method with pullulanase, glucoamylase mixed enzyme. RESULTS The content roots enzyme highest (24.07 ± 1.11%), which approximately 320% times that native starch, had best water‐holding...
