A composite catalytic system using sulfur-vacancy-containing ZnIn2S4-Sv as a light-harvesting material and nickel-based polyoxometalate Na6K4[Ni4(H2O)2(PW9O34)2] (Ni4POM) co-catalyst was developed. The Ni4POM/ZnIn2S4-Sv gave good hydrogen production rate of 337.5 μmol h-1, value 11.8 times higher than that ZnIn2S4-Sv. direction electron transfer, from to Ni4POM, verified surface photovoltage spectra.

Despite a well-developed and growing body of work on the directed evolution hemoproteins, potential hemoproteins to catalyze non-natural reactions remains underexplored. This paper reports new biocatalytic strategy for one-pot synthesis unnatural α-amino acids. Engineered variants dual-function Vitreoscilla hemoglobin were found efficiently N-H insertion C-H sp3 alkylation, providing moderate excellent yields (57%-95%) acid derivatives turnover numbers (1425-2375).
In this work, NaH2PO2, Na2S2O3 and CdCl2 were used to synthesize P-doped CdS samples for the photocatalytic decomposition of formic acid CO reaction. The production rates selectivity are as high 24.5 mmol g-1 h-1 92.4%, in which rate is 7 times higher than that pure CdS. Multiple characterizations show P-doping increases specific surface area, widens band gap shifts energy position CdS, resulting enhanced activity.
