The efficacy of treatment with nifurtimox and/or benznidazole among adults chronic Chagas disease no previous electrocardiographic disturbances was evaluated over a mean follow-up 21 years, by means conventional serology, xenodiagnosis, clinical examination, electrocardiograms and chest X-ray.
