Abstract Mast cells are critical effectors of allergic inflammation and protection against parasitic infections. We previously demonstrated that transcription factors GATA2 MITF the mast cell lineage-determining factors. However, it is unclear whether these regulate chromatin accessibility at enhancer regions. In this study, we demonstrate promotes super-enhancers identity genes primes both typical respond to antigenic stimulation. find number densities GATA2- but not MITF-bound sites...

To investigate the impact of maternal microbiota during lactation in different beef cattle breeds on their own immune levels, milk quality, and growth development offspring, this study measured parameters, intestinal diversity, quality Pingliang red Simmental cattle, performed a correlation analysis with offspring. Our showed that lactation, had significantly higher IL-6 levels than while latter exhibited factors such as IgG, IgA, IgM, IL-1β, TNFα. The lactating cows found were rich...

Porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV), Transmissible gastroenteritis (TGEV), deltacoronavirus (PDCoV) and Swine acute syndrome coronavirus (SADS-CoV) rank among the most frequently encountered swine enteric coronaviruses (SECoVs), leading to substantial economic losses industry. The availability of a rapid highly sensitive detection method proves beneficial for monitoring surveillance SECoVs. Based on N genes four distinct SECoVs, novel was developed in this study by combining recombinant...

Fowl adenovirus serotype 4 (FAdV-4) causes hepatitis-hydropericardium syndrome (HHS), leading to severe economic losses in the poultry industry. Although pathogenesis of FAdV-4 infection has caused much attention, underlying molecular mechanisms remain poorly understood. Here, we identified chaperonin containing TCP-1 subunit eta (CCT7) as an interacting partner capsid protein hexon. We found that ectopic expression CCT7 leghorn male hepatocellular (LMH) cells enhanced hexon pRK5-flag-hexon...

Parascarosis is caused mainly by parasitic infections with Parascaris equorum and univalens, the most common ascarid nematodes, in small intestine of equines. often causes severe illness even death foals yearlings. In this study, we obtained complete sequence P. mitochondrial (mt) genome compared its organization structure that Japan isolate (nearly complete), mtDNA sequences univalens Switzerland USA isolates. The China 13,899 base pairs (bp), making it smallest four genomes. All mt genomes...

The seroprevalence of Neospora caninum infection in China's northeastern Heilongjiang Province was surveyed between 2007 and 2008. In total, 540 serum samples dairy cattle from 9 counties were examined for antibodies to N. by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). overall 13.3% (72/540). aborting cows (14.9%) slightly higher than that nonaborting (10.3%). Dairy with 5 pregnancies had the highest (22.7%). However, there no apparent association seropositivity age or number (P > 0.05)....

The present study examined genetic variability among Clonorchis sinensis isolates from four different geographical localities (Guangzhou, Nanning, Jiamusi and Daqing) host species (cats, dogs, human rabbits) in Mainland China by sequence analyses of two mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) genes, namely NADH dehydrogenase subunits 2, 5 (nad2 nad5) ribosomal internal transcribed spacer 1 (ITS1). A portion the ITS1, nad2 (pnad2) nad5 (pnad5) was amplified polymerase chain reaction separately adult C....

Clonorchiasis, an infectious disease caused by the liver fluke Clonorchis sinensis, may lead to development of and gallbladder diseases, even cholangiocarcinoma (CCA). However, pathogenesis, host-pathogen interaction, diagnostic markers for clonorchiasis remain unclear. Eighteen rabbits were randomly divided into control group (n = 9) C. sinensis-infected 9), their plasma samples collected at 7, 14, 28, 63 days post-infection (dpi). Biochemical indices metabolites in different infection...

Abstract Background Antigenic stimulation through cross-linking the IgE receptor and epithelial cell-derived cytokine IL-33 are potent stimuli of mast cell (MC) activation. Moreover, primes a variety types, including MCs to respond more vigorously external stimuli. However, target genes induced by combined priming antigenic have not been investigated in human skin cells (HSMCs) genome-wide manner. Furthermore, epigenetic changes evaluated. Results We found that HSMCs enhanced their capacity...
