The high energy physics community recently gained access to the TPSCo 65 nm ISC (Image Sensor CMOS), which enables a higher in-pixel logic density in monolithic active pixel sensors (MAPS) compared processes with larger feature sizes. To explore this novel technology, Hybrid-to-Monolithic (H2M) test chip has been designed and manufactured. design followed digital-on-top workflow ports hybrid pixel-detector architecture, digital pulse processing each pixel, into chip. matrix consists of...

e14096 Background: Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICPi) have emerged as an effective treatment for a variety of cancers. However, important immune-related adverse events (irAEs) can occur. The aim this study was to determine the prevalence endocrine irAEs in patients with head and neck cancer lung that used ICPi outcomes. Methods: A systematic literature review performed within PubMed EMBASE databases. Search terms included “durvalumab”, “atezolizumab”, “nivolumab”, “pembrolizumab”,...
The PEP-II Low-Energy Ring will operate at a nominal energy of 3.1 GeV with positron beam current 2.1 A. Design parameters for vacuum components are 3.5 3 arc system is based on an aluminum antechamber concept. It consists 192 pairs 2 m long magnet chambers and 5.5 pumping chambers. Titanium nitride coating the entire duct needed in order to suppress instabilities caused by multipactoring "electron-cloud" effect. An extensive R&D program has been conducted develop that give proper...
In the beam pipe of positron Main Damping Ring (MDR) Next Linear Collider (NLC), ionization residual gases and secondary electron emission give rise to an cloud which can cause loss circulating beam. One path avoid is ensure that vacuum wall has low yield and, therefore, we need know (SEY) for candidate coatings. We report on SEY measurements at SLAC titanium nitride (TiN) titanium-zirconium-vanadium (TiZrV) thin sputter-deposited films, as well describe our experimental setup.
Conventional silicon photomultipliers (SiPMs) are well established as light detectors with single-photon-detection capability and used throughout high energy physics, medical, commercial applications. The possibility to produce single photon avalanche diodes (SPADs) in CMOS processes creates the opportunity combine a matrix of SPADs an application-specific integrated circuit same die. potential such digital SiPMs (dSiPMs) is still being explored, while it already technology certain...
The oxidation resistance of Ni‐base superalloys with Al‐contents 2–5 wt% is commonly improved by the use Al‐rich coatings. An alternative way has been proposed using halogen effect. In this case, Al activity on alloy surface increased transport via gaseous Al‐halides. Fluorine was chosen because good results obtained in case TiAl. fluorine applied ion implantation. After at 1050 °C a dense protective alumina scale formed IN738. effect combined reactive element to improve adherence scale.
A novel wire scanner has been developed with applications at linear accelerators where small beam spots or high intensities would otherwise destroy wires. pattern of wires is supported on a thin membrane and remains in place even when punctured by the beam. Many scans can be made before material needs to replaced. Tests principle have carried out Final Focus Test Beam SLAC.
We are investigating the RF properties of thin films materials which known to have low secondary emission coefficients, such as NbC, NbN and TiN. Preliminary measurements on latter material been performed by depositing a 15 nm film parts doubly re-entrant Nb cavity designed favor electron multipacting which, in uncoated cavity, occurs copiously between posts'tips. The with TiN sputtered onto indicate that current losses increased presence while dielectric negligible, within measurement...
Background and Purpose: Carotid artery plaque progression has been associated with significant cerebrovascular morbidity mortality. Even though, lifestyle modifications are the cornerstone of management atherosclerotic disease, long term effects a healthy diet regular exercise on burden carotid arteries is not clear. This meta-analysis was undertaken to assess this possibility. Methods: Randomized controlled trials comparing efficacy intensive measures (diet and/or exercise) usual care were...
Summary form only given. We have observed the focusing of high energy electron beams by self-induced gaseous plasmas. This work is being done in Final Focus Test Beam line (FFTB) at Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC). The level impact ionization neutral nitrogen gas target 29 GeV beam adequate to produce clear action. A 40% reduction size each transverse dimension for plasma lengths 3 mm. Experimental data integrated over bunch length 700 microns which we 1.5×10/sup 10/ particles (per...
