This paper concisely describes capabilities of the ‘Belok’ beamline at Kurchatov synchrotron radiation source, related to high-throughput small-molecule X-ray crystallography. As case examples, a series four novel transition metal complexes with azomethine ligands were selected. The demonstrate somewhat unexpected changes in coordination geometry and nuclearity response introduction substituents ligand’s periphery.
In this study, two-dimensional V 2 CT x MXenes were prepared by an accessible and rapid method, which involved aluminothermic combustion synthesis of the AlC MAX phase its further processing in HCl/LiF mixture under hydrothermal conditions.
Reaction of a series 2,6-diacetylpyridine bis-hydrazones with copper(II) chloride and bromide yielded pentacoordinated complexes exhibiting high cytotoxic activity.
Two new Schiff base compounds of N ‐{2‐[( E )‐сyclohexyliminomethyl]phenyl}‐4‐methylbenzenesulfonamide, )‐(4‐сyclohexylphenyl)iminomethyl]phenyl}‐4‐methylbenzenesulfonamide and their Zn(II) complexes have been synthesized characterized by elemental analysis, FT‐IR UV–Vis spectra, single crystal X‐ray determination. In both complexes, Zn 2+ ions a tetrahedral environment with two nitrogen atoms the tosylamide groups imine fragment. Time‐dependent density functional theory calculations...
New azomethine compounds of 2-(N-tosylamino)benzaldehyde or 5-chloro-2-(N-tosylamino)benzaldehyde and the corresponding chlorine-substituted anilines, zinc(II) complexes based on them have been synthesized. The structures azomethines their were determined by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR, X-ray spectroscopy, diffraction. It is found that all ZnL2 a tetrahedral structure according to XAFS diffraction data. photoluminescent properties zinc in methylene chloride solution solid form studied....
Mono-, di-, and trifluorophenyl substituted in different positions of amine fragments bis [2-[[(E)-((fluorophenyl)iminomethyl]-N-(p-tolylsulfonyl)anilino]zinc(II) complexes were synthesized. Their crystal structure, photo- electroluminescent properties, protistocidal, fungistatic, antibacterial activities studied. It has been shown that the introduction fluorine atoms an increase their number ligand structure resulting metal promote luminescence quantum yields values performance brightness...
Hard X-ray absorption spectroscopy is a valuable in situ probe for non-destructive diagnostics of metal sites. The low-energy interval spectrum (XANES) contains information about the oxidation state, ligand type, symmetry and distances first coordination shell but shows almost no dependency on bridged metal–metal bond length. higher-energy (EXAFS), contrary, more sensitive to numbers can decouple contribution from different shells. Supervised machine-learning methods combine intervals...
Abstract The magnetic properties of a dinuclear copper(II) complex the Schiff base ligand bis( N , N′ ‐3‐formylsalicylidene)‐1,3‐diaminopropan‐2‐ol (H 3 L) with an exogenous acetate bridging group, [Cu 2 L(CH COO)] ( ), and product its crystallization from dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) solution, COO)(DMSO)] are studied experimentally theoretically. coordination DMSO molecule triggers exchange coupling antiferromagnetic in (2 J = –94.8 cm –1 ) to ferromagnetic +121 ).
