Abstract Monotypic catalytic site for bifunctional hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and oxygen (OER) at low overpotential is a grand challenge in alkaline water splitting. Herein, new strategy of dual‐type atomic site‐support interaction reported, which ruthenium heteroatoms are situ implanted into both the N‐C nanosheet matrix (Ru 1 ‐N‐C) supported Co 2 P nanoparticle lattice ‐P‐Co) boosting It found that Ru ‐N‐C ‐P‐Co can give rise to synergistic effect HER OER catalysis. Density...
Carbonaceous nanomaterials with uniform pore size are potential solid sorbents in various industrial applications, such as gas purification and water treatment, because of their easily tunable diameter morphology. However, the carbon-based greatly limited CO2 capture, weak interaction (physical adsorption nature). This work reports amino functionalization microsized nanosized mesoporous carbons for capture. Two strategies, i.e., physical impregnation branched polyethylenimine (PEI) chemical...
Abstract Large separation of magnetic levels and slow relaxation in metal complexes are desirable properties single‐molecule magnets (SMMs). Spin‐phonon coupling (interactions with phonons) is ubiquitous, leading to loss memory SMMs quantum coherence qubits. Direct observation transitions spin‐phonon molecules challenging. We have found that far‐IR spectra (FIRMS) Co(PPh 3 ) 2 X ( Co‐X ; X=Cl, Br, I) reveal rarely observed as avoided crossings between u ‐symmetry phonon transitions....
Thermal treatment of ethynyl porphyrin monomers on a surface has been found to yield robust films. The scope this in situ polymerization surveyed by the synthesis and characterization collection 20 zinc porphyrins bearing diverse patterns 1−4 ethyne (or protected ethyne) groups variety nonlinking substituents. Films have prepared Si(100), SiO2, Au(111), glass. films Si(100) examined electrochemical methods, which indicate that coverages 50-fold greater than those saturation-coverage...
A combination of inelastic neutron scattering (INS), far-IR magneto-spectroscopy (FIRMS), and Raman (RaMS) has been used to comprehensively probe magnetic excitations in Co(AsPh3)2I2 (1), a reported single-molecule magnet (SMM). With applied field, the zero-field splitting (ZFS) peak (2D') shifts higher energies each spectroscopy. INS placed ZFS at 54 cm-1, as revealed by both variable-temperature (VT) variable-magnetic-field data, giving results that agree well with those from studies. Both...
Cadmium (Cd) pollution is a widespread environmental problem. In this study, we explored the transcriptome and biochemical responses of goldenrain tree (
A series of Ni(ii), Pd(ii) and Pt(ii) complexes [ML][PF6]2 [L = L1, M Ni (1), Pd (2), Pt (3); L L2, (4), (5), (6)] [Pt(L2)(acac)] (7) have been prepared by the reactions two tetradentate macrocyclic amine-NHC ligand precursors, [H2L1][PF6]2 [H2L2][PF6]2, with Ni(OAc)2·4H2O, Pd(OAc)2 Pt(acac)2 in presence NaOAc. Complex 7 is isolated along 6 from same reaction between [H2L2][PF6]2 Pt(acac)2. There are atropisomers 1-3 achiral conformers 4-6. The crystal structures one conformer 4-6 (4a-6a)...
Passive Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) remote sensing measurement of chemical gas cloud is a vital technology. It takes an important part in many fields for the detection released gases. The principle concentration based on Beer–Lambert law. Unlike active measurement, passive sensing, most cases, difference between temperature and brightness background usually few kelvins. emission almost equal to emission, thereby cannot be ignored. retrieval algorithm quite different from measurement....
Abstract The determination of trace iodide by preconcentration using solvent sublation and subsequent spectrophotometric measurements is described cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTMAB) as a collector. the optimum conditions influence diverse ions1 along with wavelength maximum absorption, concentration range statistics method are presented. applied to content in sea-water results compared iodide-starch method.
The photodissociation dynamics of 2-iodotoluene following excitation at 266 nm have been investigated employing femtosecond time-resolved mass spectrometry. photofragments are detected by multiphoton ionization using an intense laser field centered 800 nm. A dissociation time 380±50 fs was measured from the rising co-fragments toluene radical (C7H7) and iodine atom (I), which is attributed to averaged needed for C−I bond breaking simultaneously excited nσ* ππ* states pump light. In addition,...
