Hepta-coordinated Group 4 amidinate complexes have been synthesized and characterized by 15N chemical shifts through 1H–15N gHMBC NMR.
A series of Ni(ii), Pd(ii) and Pt(ii) complexes [ML][PF6]2 [L = L1, M Ni (1), Pd (2), Pt (3); L L2, (4), (5), (6)] [Pt(L2)(acac)] (7) have been prepared by the reactions two tetradentate macrocyclic amine-NHC ligand precursors, [H2L1][PF6]2 [H2L2][PF6]2, with Ni(OAc)2·4H2O, Pd(OAc)2 Pt(acac)2 in presence NaOAc. Complex 7 is isolated along 6 from same reaction between [H2L2][PF6]2 Pt(acac)2. There are atropisomers 1-3 achiral conformers 4-6. The crystal structures one conformer 4-6 (4a-6a)...
